Throwing the ball out of the option. You know Bama is gonna spend all month making sure that JJ and Ford don't get the best of them running the ball on the speed option. I think we will be able to exploit that somewhat. If we can catch their Linebackers overpersuing, we should be able to get some good looks in the middle of the field on option plays.

I'm thinking CLM & Team have a masterpiece gameplan ready in 1 month.

captain obvious at it again.

for real though, Bama knows we know the option can get to them, Les just needs to be one step ahead of Nicky again

No one counts a win this way. Apparently and for the first time ever....there is some sort of eye test. Hope LES gets the team to eye doctor soon

Good chance Saban will be game planning against the option. If they start overpersuing, counters off tackle will be there downfall. I'm more worried about how we cover their tightend and backs on delayed releases.

I honestly was thinking the exact same thing

A couple of option runs to Ford/Hilliard. Then boom, hit Randle on a deep ball after taking a few steps

certainly can't let Trent release off his block uncovered in this game

Im sure saban prepares, but I the CLM and crew will prepare better. I expect chief to blitz the crap out of them, sucker them into throwing interceptions, and of course they will get fustrated and make stupid penalities and cost themselves the game after which every gump in the world, will piss and whine how LSU screwed them...

Stop Trent Richardson. WIN.

We slowed him down a little last game. In the Dome, we make him a complete non-factor and we easily beat Alabama.

I'd still like to see us score a few TD's. no doubt stopping Trent is the key on the defensive side of the ball, but everyone already knows that.

I just don't think Nicky would be prepared for optionb throws, we hardly ever do it, so there isn't much film to watch

Goes hand in hand with stopping him.

Our field position will be vastly improved if we stop TR, which will lead to more scoring opportunities.

Exactly the same way we won the first game.

No need to get cute on offense.

Give Hilliard more of the carries that Ware got. (He's earned it & Bama has to defend the option as well as the dive with him in)

Bama won't get the two picks from Lee this time.

On defense, only slight tweaks to ensure no blown coverage on TR out of the backfield.

Bama picks off the covering LB with a WR coming over the middle from the side TR releases to.
