Well one of their teammates died before they're regional so that affected them I'm sure a hole.

Yes and that definitely took the wind out of their sails as far as the post season goes but back to the point, Vandy has not been dominating college baseball. Neither has Florida.

I posted articles about his prospects coming out of college dude. We're talking about college production.

If we hadn't won five national championships under Bertman and Mainieri were judged on his own accomplishments in a vacuum, everyone would be thrilled with him. As disappointing as it is to continuously finish short of our seeding in the NCAA tournament, year after year after year after year after year (so far, but with more years inevitably to come), I guess we should have some perspective and keep that in sight. Outside of South Carolina, Paul Mainieri would be the most successful coach in school history for any other SEC school.

Is hitting 0.250 in AAA really all that terrible?

Ok you want to end the debate over his "tools"? Fine. Over.

How about we change it to you want a team that is completely full of first rounders.

Mahtook is the closet thing to a 5 tool player that we've had in the OF under PM

Ok, I'll give you that one. How did they do against our whittle bitty, slow, weak teeballers during the regular season?

He had Nola, Gausman, Edes, Newman pitching with several other quality starters along with Bregman, Katz, Rhymes, McMullen, Jacoby Jones, and Ibarra hitting. If he couldn't win a Natty with that lineup (2013, go look back at 2012 while you're at it) I seriously question how he wins one again.

Are you really that dense? You expect a team full of 1st rounders? That's your expectation? And again, Jared Mitchell was on football scholarship.

Not to mention the outfielders have no arms. So any pop up at least 200 feet from home plate scores a runner.

This is my main gripe. I don't mind Mainieri giving up the power for speed and average. But, good lord, can we have at least one arm in the OF that people think twice about running on?

5 straight top 8 seeds never been done before I say it's working pretty well.
