Live out here seen them play, they are a good team. If anyone thinks we are going to beat the crap out of them, think again. Well coached, have recent CWS experience and their starters are well balanced with 2 seniors 4 juniors, 3 soph's. I think we beat them, but to over-look them would be a big mistake.

Small ball team .... play outfield shallow to take away dink singles... work on bunting defense.... play 3rd basemen in.... should beat them by at least 1 touchdown.... Tell Coach Mainieri to call me.

One thing I will say about them is if they’re ahead in the sixth inning, the game’s over. The numbers just show that

well shite

Yeah, but that's a moot point considering the fire this team has shown countless times to achieve incredible comebacks/piling on in the 7th-9th innings.

Definitely can't take them easily

No doubt. Oklahoma and Jonathon Gray gave us all we could handle Friday night. UCLA could very easily have us in a 3-2 ball game. I was just commenting that they won't beat us by bashing the baseball. As with any game, if UCLA pitches well and plays good defense, the game can come down to one or two key at bats.

i was at the game when they beat san diego to win their regional. lefty starter was solid. closer was lights out. left side of the infield is every bit as good as bregman/ibarra defensively, probably a little better. but none, and i mean none of these kids is a threat at the plate. barring injuries and suspensions, LSU will mow these guys down.

I'm more worried about Eades vs. UNC/USC

Right now, I am worried about Eades versus anyone. He seems to have lost all his confidence. He only gave up 1 ER on Saturday, but I was nervous every time he took the mound. He could not seem to ever get ahead of a batter. Maybe things will be different in Omaha.

Good pitching, suck hitting.

See Oklahoma

This.

And every bit as good as LSU in the field. Tied at .980 fielding %.

if we beat UCLA, that second game vs UNC/USCe/NCState is scary with either a shaky Eades or Glenn and his three week absence.

Our side of the bracket is tough, with UNC/USC and UCLA.

It is the WORLD SERIES. Everyone that makes it deserves to be there and is a tough team. Nobody sneaks into the CWS.

Good enough to be one of the last eight teams standing in the entire country.

I was gonna say this. This is the Elite 8 of March Madness. Everyone at this point is playing good ball! There are no gimmies or easy outs anymore. Win or go home.
