He'll be good perfect offense for him. Look for him to be in the all sec convo next year.

If Pitt'S offensive line only gave up 9 sacks ALL SEASON, I'm eager to see what Canada could do with our oline

Does Canada have a O-line focus? That would be fantastic. Don't want to risk losing Deculus by getting rid of Grimes, but would also love some better O-Line technique..

Wait until after NSD. Get the Deculus and Stewart signature on the dotted line, then bring somebody else in to coach OL. Maybe the Pitt OL coach. How about the Pitt OL Coach and Mawae to split it up; one takes Centers and Guards, the other does Tackles and Tight Ends................

I'll let you know after I go get a crystal ball. I'm going to the store right now and after I check my new crystal ball, I'll be back and let you know.

In his one year with Pitt Canada came into an already complete offensive position coach group- meaning he didn't bring any position coaches with him. So he might be comfortable with Pitt's OL coach but they don't have a long history together. I assume all offensive coaching positions will be negotiable between O and Canada so whether Grimes stays or goes may depend as much on O's relationship with him as how tight Canada is with Pitt's OL coach...

Etling's timing and accuracy will be better with his receivers going into camp as the First Team QB... Etling seemed to have better timing with Chark on downfield routes than with Dural and Dupre which was hurt when Harris was No. 1.

considering the biggest complaint about Canada's offense is that he likes to dink and dunk too much, his offense seems like the perfect fit for Etling

i know its hyperbole to think that pitt has no talent,

but their o line is as good as anyones int he country this past season.

they ahve the #2 OG in the draft coming out this year according to some sites
and a top 5 OT in the draft coming out on most sites as well.

2nd OG had offers everhwere up to and including bama as well.
ALso the other OT is one of the biggest freaks ive ever seen (see his running TD, his receiving TD, and more impressive..him beating a former HS 100 meter champ to the end zone while lead blocking for him on a 77 yard run)

They also had an all american WR, an truly inspirational RB in James Conner who will be playing in the NFL, a pretty solid QB who is pegged to be drafted in the later rounds, and NFL ready blocking TE, and a really good fullback.

I know, starz! (3 of their O line starters could have picked their school, and had bama offers..)

it was a perfect storm there for canada, so dont just read the rants of those that dont know anything more than a half dozen of the elite teams.

That just makes me think what i already thought and that Canada may have been a one year wonder.

He was run out of Wisky and NCSU. Goes to Pitt with some 5 star talent, an inspirational story in James Conner, feeds off the vibe and has a truly great year. Now this means Canada isnt dumb, but doesnt make him a genius either.

How can we not get Helfrich?????? The guy kicked serious tail for years, and he isnt a HC, happy being OC, perfect fit I think.

I think every real LSU fan understands that Danny has good qualities as a QB, and has not even close to peaked. I too am curious to see if he can compete and produce in the offseason.
