As you guys can see first time posting but keep reading about lack of physicality……yes, I agree the team is soft. But something I haven’t seen mentioned is that being 100% on Kelly for letting go Moffitt and bringing in his guy from ND. Moffit doesn’t appear to be washed up as we all thought. A&M is much more physical. And the worst part is we are stuck with this crap.

So because they got 3 stops the whole game, it wipes away how pathetic the defense was the rest of the time? Nah. That loss was on the defense. 100%

He also put us int position to be down the whole game....
...how any DC with our backend cant go man-heavy and make Pavia beat you with great throws is beyond me.
Last years D backfield? Couldn't do it. This years D backfield? It was a travesty what he called all game.

Lots of low IQ bros today. Surprising.
Two 3 and outs in the 4q
Multiple Red Zone disasters.
Multiple other 3 and outs.
D is not perfect. Consistently losing contain, poor lane discipline are major problems.
But they are playing well enough to win games. Again the terrible offensive performance makes things that much harder.
Why can’t LSU control the clock? Dominate the los? Pound vandy into submission?

Baker is a very good coach. The players are not executing. Sloan, however, is a very weak play caller.

Offense was not bad, that might have been our best game as far as moving the ball down the field and limiting stupid mistakes. Offense has had way worse games this year, and the defense was great in those games.

Defense is still good but the injuries are piling up. LSU was missing 3 DL in that game 2 starters one who heavily rotates in and a very good player in Weeks. Pyburn got hurt too and likely will be hurt against TAMU. LSU is not going to overcome that on the front seven. TAMU will do the same thing with a more dangerous runner at QB.

He should be very frustrated about not being able to stop Ole Miss when it counted most, and about Pavia exposing him again. He has to be frustrated because he has too much talent on defense for those things to be happening.

The DC who is the highest paid DC with one of the highest defenses and can only perform for teams that are worse than top 50? Well he’s probably upset because he is a fraud and it is about to get really really bad for our defense

when his most physically talented player is loafing all over the field, I would think he should be very frustrated.
That player was actually in on, not solo, 2 tackles in the 2nd half last week.
He might as well not be on the field.

Why would he be frustrated?
Like his head coach, he is overpaid. He is underperforming. He can't scheme to stop a half arse mobile QB. He triples down on what doesn't work and loses again and again the exact same way.
He's a fraud too. We may not see the other team punt the next two weeks.

As much as everyone is bagging the offense, which is deserved.. they ran less than 50 plays since the defense couldn’t get off the field. Baker and company aren’t free from criticism either. They haven’t come to play against our two biggest opponents
