I know it doesn’t matter, but it’s always something I look forward to after a week. I think we stay in the top 15.

I really don’t think we’re as bad as that game last night showed. We were unprepared. I think that game is going to wake us up and lock us in for each week. They don’t want to be embarrassed like that again.

I’d drop them out of the Top 20

They simply don’t belong

Hate doesn’t men being realistic. This club is not a top 20 team at this time. Based on week 1 game performance, borderline #25.

I don’t think there’s a team in the top 8 that wouldn’t beat LSU by 3+ scores before garbage time. That kind of puts them towards the bottom of ranked. Not saying they couldn’t be better by end of season, but for now - that’s where they objectively belong.

LSU shouldn't be ranked in my opinion. If they are they should be in the 20's

We will be 15ish. This loss will age well, mark my words. It’s always better to lose early than late. Still everything to play for

Nah...

People see that final margin, remember Fla State scoring at will in the 4th, and forget the way the game went.

Even after a bad 3rd quarter and failing to take 2 FGs, LSU was still only down 7 pts, and had taken the kickoff and moved quickly to midfield. It was 1st down at the 48 at the end of the quarter.
It felt like we were about to tie it up again, and the game would go back and forth.

That final quarter just came out of nowhere... I swear I didn't see the interception live. It's like they came out of commercial, and were talking about it. Maybe I was staring at this website trying to post, or maybe the broadcast missed the play, I dunno. But it went from "ok, here we go" to "wait, what? They have the ball?", and the game crashed for LSU.

Bump. love getting 10 downvotes and end up being right.

To many negatigers on this board. Did we look bad? Sure, but I don't think this team is going to laydown and quit. 9-3, 10-2 is still very well in reach. Enjoy the season and trust the process. To many people expect us to go 12-0 every single year. Lose by 1, lose by 14, you're still 0-1. Move on, beat the breaks off Grambling State, find your identity and go into Starkville with some momentum.
