Because that’s the story that was bandied about yesterday, and if there’s not more to that story, then that’s bullshite.

If the coaches found out about the incident, there is more to it. Weeks obviously got caught and authorities were involved. Otherwise, how would the coaches even know he used/tried to use a fake ID?

With todays gambling landscape you can not be soft on anything in that realm.

I would imagine there is a rule prohibiting any LSU football player from gambling of any kind.

Per the participation report, Whit played yesterday. I'm guessing on special teams

Be it noted, I’m not 100% sure this happened, but in the game threads when speigjts was sucking arse and 40 did not get in the game at all, It was speculated This was the reason.

Rumor was going late last night that Whit got caught using West's ID to get into a casino and that's why he didn't play.

I feel like the OP was a noted dumbass though

I used to see LSU players at L'Auberge all the time. One time there was a drawing where both Skip and Sandy Bertman won $750+ in Best Buy gift cards and Keke Mingo was called. He didn't claim his prize. Probably made a phantom exit. Don't remember what year this was.

Every college student has and uses a fake id. Every one.

Because casinos are regulated by State Police and it's against the law.

I thought Whit had some plays last night. He was in there after an injury.

I never had to because of an early birthday and drinking age was 18 back then.

That being said, casinos swipe IDs. Do fake IDs have all the electronic info that legitimate ones have?

If a player with no will power gets i to a casino / bookie for a lot of money, it could lead to paying back the debt in a way detrimental to the player/team/and sport. Best they stay out.
