Because Miles is known all over the College football nation as fricking goofball and don't know how to coach that's why.

The correct answer is mostly the deficit, 7 instead of 3.
And that's why the 15 yard penalty can be considered so instrumental in the outcome.
When rewatching what occurred on that play and witnessing what occurred throughout bowl games and again last night, it is criminal.
There were 3 different Bama players attempting to draw that personal foul, and the one that was successful was the most egregious.
Watched a Bama player last night in the first half get a running start and two hand shove a Buckeye player in retaliation far after the play was over in plain view with no call.
Karma, I guess. Without that manipulated call against us, the SEC would have had no team without 2 losses and in danger of missing out on the payday. I, for one, am ecstatic and relieved that the SEC got their rightful place this postseason.
When you put marketing and the almighty dollar first in manipulating results, you should get embarrassed.

Urban Meyer's last drive in the Sugar Bowl after the failed on-side kick was at least as bad as anything LSU has ever done against them. First down bomb imcomplete, stops the clock and basically gives Alabama an extra timeout Second down one yard run. Alabama timeout Third down QB runs for his life and gets dropped for an 11 yard sack and is lucky he didn't fumble. Alabama timeout And then Alabama gets the ball back and goes downfield but OF COURSE they don't score. Somehow if that was LSU, they score, no doubt. That last drive by one of CFB's "elite" coaches was at least as stupid as 90 percent of what Les Miles has done and has been taken to task for. He was lucky that Alabama didn't take that game to OT.
Bc Urban led by 7 dick, not 3! Also bc Urban win dick, Les lost!

Because Urban Meyer doesnt have to deal with "3rd & Chavis".

The fact that Alabama needed a TD instead of a field goal changes the whole calculus. Most half decent offenses can complete a bunch of dumps and slants to the outside and get make it into (or near) field goal range. Knowing that you need seven makes a world of difference for the O. Knowing that you just need to keep them out of the red zone makes a world of difference for the D.

Meyer hasn't lost 4 in a row

nah nah nah nah. frick the haters in this thread.
Miles has had plenty of wins where ya'll skewer him for shite like that.
winning didn't seem to matter then. but now bc someone else did it, it does.
bullshite.
You can't possibly be stupid enough to think that pulling out a win at home against a shitty TN team despite going full retard in the last minute is somehow equally stupid as what Urban Meyer did last night enroute to the National Championship game. Wipe the nutt from your upper lip

Still don't know why they threw on first down.

Don't you know you are supposed to bow down to corrupt officiating and shite on your team and coach instead?
What is wrong with you?

tOSU did not have 3rd and Chavis. Also, Bama bungled the last drive badly.
Posted on 1/2/15 at 1:43 pm to lsutigers1992
Question for Chavez not Miles!
Posted on 1/2/15 at 1:47 pm to lsutigers1992
RIGHT ON, OP! YOU SPEAK DA TRUTH...BETTER TO BE GOOD & LUCKY THAN JUST GOOD!!!
Posted on 1/2/15 at 2:51 pm to lsutigers1992
He doesn't get away with it, it was stupid, and just as stupid as anything Miles has ever done.
The difference is Saban and Meyer do it occasionally, and Miles does it regularly.

They won. Ultimately all fans care about is the win. Pretty or ugly, last minute or blowout, the W is what counts!

Because his defensive players tackled Bama in bounds on two plays. All LSU needed was one tackle in bounds and the game ends with an LSU win.
That and too much cushion off the LOS which was wide open for crossing patterns and chunks of yards to the sideline. The scenarios were different and we needed a 4 down stop...on the other side of the 50. OSU needed to prevent them from driving the entire field with no TO's. Our D was solid for the entire game so why abandon what was working.
