LSU will have easily the best o line in the country. Just need to fix that abortion of a defense
Ok. We will still have a big drop off at QB and WR.
Not saying the Online isn’t good or won’t be good next year, but sort of like Borrow, Daniels has the ability to make up for O line mistakes making them look better than they really are.

DC has to get hired that can recruit and his staff can recruit. If this happens you still wait a couple more years to bring in guys that can play in the SEC. We don’t have anywhere near SEC caliber players corners/lineman right now

Everyone here knew how competitive the SEC is top to bottom and with Oklahoma and Texas on the way it gets worse. BK never realized it until he experiences it but we've seen it, learned it. This ain't Notre Dame dude and there is a reason they don't play SEC teams until they absolutely have too.

Progress is not a straight line upward.
You have dips in the road.
Focus on getting the defense fixed. We have a solid corps for offense.
That’s how it starts. Win 10 games again. Continue to improve deficiencies.

Peak LSU football to finally sort out the OL after infinity years only to have no QB or receivers

At least Les & O were players coaches; Kelly couldn’t be farther from a players coach.
Would someone like to start an over/under on how many times he throws the players under the bus in his Press Conference this week?
His record in big games & against top teams speaks for itself. BAD HIRE!

I’m not ready to pull the plug on Kelly - yet. But we’ve gone 4 (FOUR) years without what I would consider a winning season. (Winning = contending for a Natty and no we weren’t ever going to beat Georgia so hush). Kelly has owned two of those years so it’s not all his fault. But he has to suffer some blame:
- not recruiting like the previous 4 administrations.
- clinging to his buddies (ask Les how refusing to fire a buddy worked for him).
- no fire. None. Our QB got targeted last night and he stood there with those Googley deer in the headlights look and did nothing. He didn’t lose his shite on a ref and he damn sure should have.
I fear we are now headed to the tier of Mississippi State or a mid-tier AAC Tulane level. These young kids see this and they’re not going to come to LSU if we lose 3 games a year. I also fear we’re not done losing yet.
I’m not happy but at the end of the day, it will either get fixed and our money will keep flowing or it won’t and it won’t.
For the last 20 years, we had been contending every 4 years. Prior that, it was a 45 year drought. This is the worst gap / drought we’ve experienced in 20 years. Kelly needs to be made aware of that. I’m not waiting 45 more years for a Fricking Natty!

Do you honestly think that you get to the point of beating Georgia in 2 years?

Where are you getting this? We have a top 10 class that focuses on areas of needs. Need a bit more for a stellar class, but there’s still time.
You could have the flip side of recruiting like aTm and seeing their results.

He worked the officials all night and absolutely did after this call.
You're the epitome of unreal expectations clouding your judgement.
We don’t just jump to #1 in everything. Growth and development is an iterative process. Ups and downs on the path to success.
We’re far better off than we were 2 years ago and we’re trending upward. Not downward. Take a step back and recalibrate.

The only teams that are beating Georgia are established programs that have a solid foundation and a consistent approach. Ie: 3-4 teams.

Watched every single game since 1977. Take your purple and gold glasses off and realize we are trending downward and with haste since 2019. Let’s just agree to disagree. Enjoy the rest of your day.

That would be laughable if it wasn't so pathetic. The tomato-and-crayfish gumbo lothario is the very reason the team is in the mess it's in.

Nuss CAN run, but I think his style of moving in the pocket looking to throw will translate. He's a gun slinger, so there will be more bad throws, but I think he will make some amazing plays as well...

They can't do it dude. It's sunshine pumped up their asses. They can't get enough. They can't see what's in front of then. But this is sports entertainment. It sells HOPE. That's what they are clinging to.

This is your problem. We aren’t that club anymore. We weren’t the year after. Stop using it as a barometer. It’s a goal at this point.
2020: 5-5 Down
2021: 6-7 Down
2022: 10-4 Huge swing up
2023: 6-3 and will likely be favored in remaining 3 games unless 5 misses aTm.
You’re going to tell me 9-10 win seasons are trending down from 2021?

Well I told you let’s agree to disagree I guess you prefer to argue. Not going to do it I have church. I said initially that it is a losing season in my book if we aren’t competing for Nattys. So no we aren’t trending upwards because we still suck. Statistically, yes we are better than 20-21. But that means nothing to me. Good day to you and have a wonderful day.

Yes, I do. That’s the whole point of this board and this topic.
Also I find it hilarious that you have been watching since 77 and have these expectations when we’ve won it 3 times in the past 100 years.

On one hand, I don’t think the sky is falling, but on the other, things may not be trending towards a championship soon.
Pretty sure Notre Dame fans warned us about this when we hired Kelly.
