Secondly, do you think there is any chance of lsu offering him a big money contract to get him back as our oc, since stud/miles definitely isn't cut out for it.
Mother of god. I wish I could ban you.

I don't see a reason why he wouldn't want to leave as head coach of one of the premier programs in the country to be an assistant, prolly take like a 3.5 million cut to do it.

Crowton was seen as the savior in 2007.

Many couldn't WAIT for him to be gone after 06. Same as crowton when he left. I will concede crowton had more pressure to leave of course.

First off, do you agree that the offense was amazing during his years here?

I'll never forget this:

I was at 2003 Spring Auto Session. Guy next to me goes "Jimbo Fisher sucks donkey cock. Guy's offense is horrible. Can't even pass for 200 yards a game."

Bet he wants that one back now.

Well I came here to read Op being worked over for prematurely suggesting we hire Jimbo as HC, and again I make a mistake projecting assumptions onto someone else.

No, really...are you fricking serious?

Hey Jimbo, how about leaving your position as head coach of Florida State to come be our offensive coordinator?

Jimbo at L.S.U. was a pretty dag nabit darn good (As Bobby Bowden would say) quarterback coach, but was a questionable play caller. Considering what we have now with the "Milesdrawa Wolverine 70's Express" offense nonsense and the Molasses slow QB development, Jimbo was a Holgorsen/Leach type in comparison.

Wait a minute dudes - our offense with all that talent was run up the middle twice, bubble screen punt/ repeat

Jimbo was lackluster here - had been a product o media love at FSU but admit that the ACC is way down the last 5 years

Is he a top 5% O Coordinator, probably note. Is he a genius compared to the bleached piece of crap of an offense we have had of late, yes.

People hated him as an OC. If the rant was as big then as it is now this place would have been in constant meltdown. I remember being able to call almost every play. And damn he loved some screens.

Huh? I'd take Jimbo back in a heartbeat.

Someone not on a phone post the national ranking in O for LSU with the OC noted for each year.

Maybe we could get Sabin to come back and take the D-Coordinator job while we are at it.
