How does Delpit still get first-round grades even with his struggles this season?

A new CBS mock draft came out and Delpit was projected as the #16 overall pick and the 2nd Safety off the board.
LINK
Everyone here is well aware of Delpit's tackling issues this year so I cant seem to understand why he has stayed relatively high on draft boards. People have been lamenting his play all year long but I still see consistent first round grades. Compare this to Arden Key who, after his sophomore year, was projected by some to potentially be the #1 overall pick but fell all the way to the 3rd round after a lackluster junior season. Why hasnt this type of fall happened for Delpit? Is it because the safety class this year is just very weak? Or did he show so much last season that scouts are willing to look past his struggles this year?
DISCLAIMER: This mock is actually from before this past weekend.

Drafting isn’t just about how a player looks on film. Most of it is about potential. Delpit has the potential of a Pro Bowl safety. He definitely hasn’t lived up to that this year, but he does have the potential. Which is why he will most likely be a 1st round pick

Super athlete.. incredible first two seasons here.. paired with our reputation of DBs in the nfl.. he’ll go top half of the first round

So did Arden Key not have the potential of a Pro Bowl OLB? What caused him to slip so much after his junior year?

been dealing with a bum ankle, ankle issues never heal in a few weeks especially when you are still having to sprint and cut on it

Arden key had way bigger issues than delpit has. His off the field BS caused him to slide down

His workouts in the postseason for the scouts will be key for him

The scouts watch all the film.
They know that he is playing hurt and also playing out of position compared to last year.
Grant is not a FS/deep safety.
So the pros are taking all that into their evaluation.

Wouldnt his tackling issues matter more as a SS? And if the scouts can excuse his poor play as a result of injury why cant the fans?

Well I mean Fournette was clearly hurt and sat out numerous games because of it. Also, I dont dislike Delpit or hope he doesnt go 1st round. Just trying to understand the logic here.

He is absolutely better closer to the line.
I think We’ve had to play him deeper this year because of Harris going down.

Delpit showed last year his ceiling is very high and scouts are probably taking in to account that the kid might actually be hurt. We hear about these guys playing through injury every spring when the season is over.
I’m not sure if he is hurt, but I don’t think we would be seeing the plays where it seems as if he’s giving minimal effort if he wasn’t banged up

Mock drafts are not made by GMs and player personnel directors. They’re made by analysts and reporters. Worthless.
That said, Delpit has the tools and skills. He was the best safety in the country last year.

He is a great talent that has 2 years and even some games this year of top end film. He was projected so high preseason that even if he drops he will still be a first round pick in mocks. Ankle injuries need time to heal. Tough to get them back to 100 percent during the season.

Same way Daniel Jones went 6th last year.

What I dont understand is on this topic all I see is posts from fans being so understanding that Delpit is playing hurt and that is what is causing his issues. But in the game when he misses a tackle it is all "TAKE #7 FROM HIM" "WTF HAPPENED TO HIM?" "HE ISNT EVEN TRYING OUT THERE."

If I had to guess those two statements are not coming from the same group of people.

In an NFL scheme he wouldn't be asked to be around the line as much. We're a bit weak up front so Delpit is in the box a lot.
