I think he will be great. Had a whole month to prepare and knowing he will play a lot. Beckwith will be on sidelines encouraging and helping him. This may be his coming out party.

18 Tackles.
2 Sacks.
1 INT.
2 Forced Fumbles. (1 recovered for a TD)

And he drags his nuts across Lamar Jackson's face after removing his helmet on one of his blindside hits.

Jackson is so upset that he gives the Heisman trophy to Devin White.

LSU defensive player wins the Heisman.

Alabama recruits are so impressed with this performance and the Heisman trophy, all defensive recruits we targeted that went to Alabama flip back to LSU.

TLDR:

He should do okay I guess.

White is a savage.

Deep down Moses didn't want to play LB next to him because he would rather sit 2 years at Bama, over having Devin steal his shine

Think he'll be a Lamar Jackson shadow? He's got the speed to do it...

White is a badass in training. The guy is going to be an absolute beast next year. Hope we move Divinity inside and they will hold down the ILB spots for the next couple of years. The future is bright.

I'd be shocked if Jamal Adams isn't the guy we tap for this role.

Good point. Probably a combination of those guys. Playing their last game as LSU Tigers, defending against the best player in the country. Doesn't get any better than that!

White is built like a Mack truck. If he puts in the work in the film room, he'll be playing on sundays in 2 years.

That would be much better than White shadowing him. DW has all of the tools to dominate and start on Sundays but I have to doubt that he is really the best guy to shadow LJ.

Maybe they can share that duty depending on the situation. Anyway, there are a few guys on this defense that can keep an eye on LJ.
