I can't understand how people (men, women, older, younger) get so damn upset where they scream so much vitriol during the game...all of this directed at LSU

I know it's not just at LSU. Is it a mental issue? Alcohol? Upbringing?

I don't get it either.

It's pathetic.

Its all about the way that we lost. 21-20, 21-18, 21-14 is okay. But not 21-0

I've never realized how bad some of our fans are until now. Some people are acting like fricking Bama fans with this sense of entitlement they have.

It's about state pride. LSU represents Louisiana.

Soldiers have fought and died being driven by nothing but pride in their homeland for thousands of years.

So were you drunk Bartman or do you have a mental issue? Or did you grow up in a family where that type of language-in-situations was the norm?

Some of these people talk so much pregame shite, they are angry that they now have to eat their words. That need to grow up.

In college the alcohol made me do it some, but I always felt like an arse afterward.

Grow up? I'm also talking about the 45 year old man yelling "F You Jordan Jefferson....F You"

And this was at a quiet point in the game

So expecting coaches being paid millions of dollars to actually coach above a kindergarten level is acceptable?

Apparently to you, it is acceptable for a coach to quit on his team in their biggest game of the season. Sorry some of us don't feel the same way.

That has to be mental...or ignorance.

I really don't understand it. I get the feeling from a lot of people on here that they would prefer a season like last season (10-2 winning the Cotton Bowl) than the season we had this year. Regardless of what happened last night, we had one of the greatest seasons this program has ever had, yet people are now acting like its the end of the world.

Well yeah... they won't grow up, but if they had, they would act like it

Yeah, and I feel ZERO pride in my home state when some of you people act out like a 3 year old that had a toy taken away.

Uh, that has absolutely no relevance in this discussion.

fricking this. I feel embarrassed to be an LSU fan because of the way some people reacted to that game.

What was some of the reactions in the crowd last night? I'd love to know?

I heard the Jarrett Lee chant. I heard the boos as well.

Don't worry Geaux2002, I've already seen your posts and know which category you fall into.

That was pretty much it. Obviously everyone was pissed off. And I was sitting in the student section so of course there was lots of profanity and yelling at the coaches and JJ. Pretty much felt like a normal home game when JJ sucked.

It's the way we lost and WHO we lost to. I don't usually act really bad unless it's to the Gumps.
