The Ronnie Rantz of the world or poorer than they were before lunch. Those bozos were preaching to sell the farm and load up on Bamers L love when that happens

It never ceases to amaze me how good vegas is. Anyone who actually watched cbb this year would have made a smart guess that this would have been a 20-25 point loss.
I bought the line down to +10. So I pushed. But Bama only scoring 2 points on free throws the last 7 minutes of the game and the guy that was raining threes all game suddenly air balls three in a row………I mean it’s not hard to see how Vegas knew. Bama gets the win Vegas and whom ever gets paid. It’s really very obvious once you wrap your mind around it.

I'm constantly amazed. I say this same thing all the time.
However, I recently started thinking "How much is it just me cherry-picking games to notice close betting odds results?" What is Vegas' real prediction percentage? How many blowouts have I switched channels on that Vegas predicted a 2.5 margin and I didn't bother t notice how off Vegas was?

Alabama players were point shaving. This is not hard to understand

No no no you’re wrong. Bama not scoring from the floor for almost 7 minutes and suddenly air balling all threes was just LSU’s great defense.

Win with the Tigers and football this year. Also Joe Burrow and the Bengals hit for me most of the season when I bet. The Vikings also.
Vandy win total this year was an easy one.

Refs? Lsu was shot 31 FTs vs Bama 15? Bama got almost not calls when driving to the basket in the 2nd half. Other than that, Vegas figured Bama would be coasting and just take the easy win vs. going all out for the beatdown?

They don’t know. I have a SIL who is always saying the same thing, and then I start pointing out how often Vegas is way off. Example: What was the line on the first Bama - LSU game?

I’ve realized how fricking strange it is Vegas is always right on the money. It’s amazing
Well, not "always" right on the money, but they are close a hell of a lot more times than not.

The folks in vegas, citing zero stats or advanced metrics, thought it would be 30 points closer than the previous game vs bama, and they were right.
Wut lol
KenPom, which is the most notable publicly available site with advanced metrics, had the spread close to Vegas. I think 13 vs 11.5. It’s tough for even the great teams to win consistently by double digits on the road in conference play
Bammer was a 14 point favorite last time lsu played and won by 40. Did Vegas not know on that one?

what I've learned about betting games is if it looks like a cinch bet the other way. Joe Public is going to be wrong more times than not.

It was no hunch, I guarantee you that.

If a line seems to stink, dive into that motherfricker

2 things I look for…. Who is the free pick and who is the obvious pick. If both are the same, go the other way consistently and be ahead. 53 percent is great. I took the tigers because no way that line is that low.
