We all know Manz is good, and you've got a solid receiver and 2 really good OL. No one is doubting that. The points we're making here are thus.
1. Johnny Manziel has not faced a better, faster, or more talented defense than this one.
2. Your fantastic scoring defense has been hemorrhaging yardage this season.
3. You gave up a shite pot of points/yards to fricking LA Tech.
4. It's fricking LA TECH.

This. I never said JM wasn't good. He keeps saying I'm not giving the guy any credit. He's good.

As for y'all's DE speed, sorry, but our bookends are among the best in the country. I'm honestly more worried about our interior line. Mingo is good, but buyer beware if you flush Manziel from the pocket.

What stats do you predict for Saturday for johnny?

Earlier in the thread he posted that JM puts up 350 yards in total yards.

Manziel has scored more points for A&M than anyone else on the team. LOL 60 points in 6 games. Also leading rusher in SEC and 3rd in passing in SEC. That's some impressive stats if nothing else.

Right?!
We'll see this Saturday. He'll get some yards but not what he has been getting.

That is something to be sure, however look at the teams they played.

South Carolina State? SMU? A derailed Arkansas team? La. Tech?

Sounds a lot like what I heard before we played Oregon last year. Thomas is so fast, you don't want to get him out of the pocket, LaMichael will gash LSU, Oregon is too fast, etc, etc.

Nobody's saying he's not good. They just think this dude is another cam newton or something.

I find it funny that he's ignoring the fact that OLE MISS nearly beat JM & the fightin faggies just two weeks ago.

Exactly. Cam gave people problems because he had size to go with his speed and elusiveness. He could grind out yards and take some big hits. JFF and other qbs like darron thomas would fold like a cheap lawn chair if they took some of the hits cam took

I ask the guy some very poignant questions, not flaming, just genuinely wondering if he really believes this guy is going to carve up LSU's defense.

... crickets...

I was lurking their board earlier and people were talking about JFFs stats being better than Newton. They never faced him or they would understand the huge difference between the two

Exactly, plus you gotta take into account Newton was a better passer.

M&M can contain dual threats (that are not cam newton)... just like the cotton bowl and oregon game.
