I get tired of hearing this. Alot of first year qbs in college suck at first, and turn out to be pretty good. Just cause he threw picks his first year, doesnt mean he would have had he been given more of a chance. The issue is, it is hard to really know what he has. He was never really given a chance to develop. You cant expect to just throw him in there, here and there, and expect him to light it up. He should have had more playing time in certain situations, and certain teams.

Was the entire 2009 season and 4 games into the 2010 season not enough of a chance for JJ?

At least the offense put up some points and yards in 2008. Having the same offensive output from 2008 and this year's D, this team could make some noise.

If nothing else he's mature and not a dumbass. That's a plus in my book.

Maybe he knows like the coaches that he still makes too many mistakes in practice and maybe he's not better than JJ.

I hope that you are wrong, but I'm afraid you have the correct answer.

I think you haven’t heard any complaints from him for the same reason he didn’t transfer when things went bad. He is a class act.

Jarret Lee along with all the LSU fans know it is only a matter of time before Miles is forced to do the right thing.

The fact that Miles does not want to do the right thing is what is so maddening.

I say, a Lee chant is in order for the entire first half by our students. I would love to see Miles' face.

great idea!!!! and while your looking at Miles face, the rest of us will watch Jordan Jefferson get his confidence and emotions crushed. Should I take a picture of that for you?

Team player
Leader
Class

He has character. One thing that JJ seems to be severely lacking. And I don't mean that in the sense that JJ is a bad person. But it shows that he doesn't have the leadership qualities you look for in a QB.

The players I have over for dinner each week tell me that he is bothered but trying to show the coaches by his play. He has gained a lot of respect from the team from his actions. I for one was not a fan 2 years ago but I can admire a kid who stuck through it all and keeps fighting for his redemption. Several players are amazed at the playcalling and QB decision so far. It's very different than what was ran in Spring ball.

I'm in the camp that if JL was able to play anything like 2008 we are still in a better situation, minus pick 6s. That offense scored points, we just gave them up in bunches ourselves.

Fact of the matter is, we better find out this week who can play QB cause after this we don't get many more chances without that opponent totally fricking us up on the field.

He knows what is going on and is bidding his time. He doesn't have to say a word.

If the shoe was on the other foot, I have no doubts that Jefferson would say something stupid and cocky to the media.
