Days leading up to the game...

I have a feeling theres gonna be some fights and quite a few shouting matches.

Surely not. It's just football.

It won't be. Their fans are fricking snobby weird fricks.

It will be less chippy than dealing with Arky and Ole Miss fans, and NOTHING like Bama and Florida fans.

I've been to a lot of different team's games and rarely did I ever see a fight. I can literally count on one hand.

Also, when there was one, it was usually drunk college kids.

I doubt the majority of the fans that will be attending are keyboard war vets of TD v. girlyhorn

My BIL is a UT grad and I agree. He and my sister live about 3-4 miles from campus.

I’ve been to Austin, they don’t want the smoke. Nothing but skinny jeans and tight tees. They’ll leave that stadium with a boot up their asses and a huge L.

Your girlfriend will know she’s got a keeper seeing you yell at random people on the street

You got to be real trashy to be getting into fights with other fans.

very unlikely. In my experience traveling most fan bases we don't play routinely are excited to play us and very welcoming.

It will be cordial. Expect some cracks on Orgeron, Cajuns and Louisiana.

Nah

Im talking about in the stands. I think im going to be surrounded by longhorns.

Usually in TS , the worst thing is sitting next to a fan of the other team in an LSU dominant section and watching them laugh it up.

Ill be doing the same.

I dont think i could ever sink low enough to start a fight. Thats some WVU shite.

Let me just put it this way....

After they beat us at the Cotton Bowl, the only cheering walking down the ramps and outside the stadium after the game was drunken LSU fans. The Longhorn fans were just moseying back to their cars and shite like "what we gonna do now?"

I also went to a Red River Rivalry game where they lost to OU and were equally as indifferent/unbothered by the loss.

I think it has to do with a LOT of their undergrads being Asian.
They enjoy the games and support the Longhorns but aren't rowdy AT all.

Now that I think about it, they are alot like Auburn fans minus the hospitality Auburn fans are known to exude to visiting fans.
"Hey there. Welcome to Auburn" never gets old. Been there twice for LSU games.

The fans aren't known for being physically confrontational. If you go down to dirty 6th, sure, you can instigate a fight no problem - but that is true any weekend with or without a game and regardless of your affiliation.
