Because he pulled the trigger relatively quick on Kelly. If he had not, he would have been gone.

Who is a better option?

The guy has had incredible success here and elsewhere

He might be the best AD in the SEC

yup, everything is fixed, it was only 54 million to let BK sit on his arse for the rest of his hopefully miserable life

Who has had a crummy football program since he arrived. The team has done nothing for years. NOTHING.

Well, it looks like the PR campaign to save his butt is underway.

He needs to go. It will be the correct move.

He extended Orgeron's contract for no apparent reason in ways that made no sense. The Kelly contract is inexcusable. Football is the be all and end all in college athletics for better or worse. He needed to make more of an effort. If the rumors of BK playing 400 rounds of golf are true, that will reflect poorly on Woodward.

First, what does Jeff Landry know about sports? He needs to stay in his lane.

Weak! Mindless incessant posts does not equate to common sense or being in the know.

He made this bed. He can sleep in it. We will know something after the new president is installed I imagine.

Who knows, but it is doubtful that Scott will hire the new HC. This one needs to be a home run hire, but know way to know beforehand. Didn't Emmert's successor let Saban go?

He pretty much said he was in his press release.

He made a hugely disastrous hire in BK

At the time, who was a better candidate? Not to mention, none of the other candidates really looked too great in retrospect either...
My only concern was the $$ and years involved, but that's the way the coaching market has become over the last few years.

Saying and doing. Well, he needs to hit a homerun if that is the case. Not sure he should not leave as well.

Giving him the 10 year guaranteed contract was stupid.

My wish is that Glen Guilbeau writes an article about how this next hire, whoever it is, was not a homerun hire. That will all but guarantee that it was
