I am rooting for him but the longer this goes on the more it feels like a Jonathan Giles situation

He dropped a wide open TD. Watkins dropped 2. Zach Grace had an opportunity for a TD against Ole Miss but Leavitt was off with the throw. Then Grace dropped a wide open pass against McNeese.
These things happen, and their times will come back around. They will be needed the rest of the season, so they just need to be patient.

Let him prove he catch a pass.

He's on the scout team now so I doubt you'll see much of him on Saturday. But I told you Deuce Geralds was getting snaps on offense last Wednesday so there's that.
Him dropping a wide open pass for a touchdown from Clark was the last straw.

He’s a good blocker and in on the short yardage packages

Exactly these guys are tards. By their logic Leavitt would be benched along with Watkins and a few other players

You sure about that? Brown made some good plays against McNesse albeit in trash time

Wasn’t aware LSU played Nicholls this season… at least be accurate when throwing out stats lmao

My eyes don't lie, he's not even getting snaps with the 2nd team

This is some typical rant logic: how can we get a player more involved in the offense that hasn't shown any reason to be more involved in the offense, because feelings.
Dude he has 94 SPD on Xbox!!

Got my wires crossed typing on my phone. Point is he played 0 snaps with the 1's last week. Stats were accurate, misspoke on the team. Thank you for pointing that out, have a great day.

He hasn't shown the ability to run crisp routes, catch the ball, separate vs man coverage, or block. There is zero reason he needs to be playing any significant snaps right now.

And he's been with the scout team this week in practice. He won't see the field vs Kentucky unless there are injuries or it's a blowout

Would encourage you to go back and watch his K state highlights again. I think he broke a combined 0 tackles in his time at K state.
He’s smooth and quick but he doesn’t have any play strength. Bigger stronger guys will get their hands on you as you up the competition level. If you can’t play through it then your movement skills become sort of useless.
The exception is a guy like Xavier Worthy who’s absurdly fast and Texas could move him around to give him free releases and let him stress defenses vertically. I know Jayce ran 23 mph in training or whatever it was, but he doesn’t have jump off the screen speed like Worthy. To me he moves like a typical smaller athletic slot guy, which every SEC team has multiple guys like that. He doesn’t move on the field like a rare athlete even if his test numbers say he should.

Yeah he's been struggling to be a factor. Give it time. Most of us had the same feeling about Harris the week of the Texas A&M game.
I think Weis and Kiffin are very calculated with the way they call games. I feel like they purposely havent dug deep in their bag yet with playcalling.
Brown will get bigger opportunities in due time.
