How can someone possibly square away the 2 reviews of targeting?

The no call against the UF Lineman should have been a Personal Foul. You cant blow up someone around the pile.

I totally agree. How the second play wasn't called targeting is beyond me! The player was clearly defenseless and then suddenly gets popped near the head area by a huge lineman. Total BS, but I think we got the last laugh!

The no-call on the Florida defender, who hit Johnson out of bounds, and in the neck area was also suspicious.

I think Flott was targeting, agree or disagree it meets the standard in my opinion,
I think the Florida lineman was targeting and it meets the standard, struck with crown of helmet to facemark....the fact that it was after the play makes it even more egregious of a miss in my opinion.

Surprised ED O didn’t submit it to the SEC office. Shoulda have been called after the game if nothing else. Should be out for SEC Champ game

I haven't seen anybody mention the UF receiver that got hurt 2 plays before their field goal try at the end. He started to run off the field then stayed in to catch a pass to get them closer. I thought you have to sit out at least one play if hurt.

Don't remember but I think the second one was in the second half...if it was I'm surprised it wasn't called so that the UF player would have to miss the first half of the SECCG

I have no problem with the Flott call. It’s on the edge but that’s probably a call that needs to be made.
How in the hell could they not consider the Olinemen hit a target is absurd to me. Like Blackledge said isn’t that the kind of hit you want to take out of the game? It’s just senseless
