Agreed. It helps us more than hurts us.

you guys would be loving JT if that ball was fair.

but he may need to move down in the order. doubtful though, JJ probably doesn't want to mess with his head right now.

Jay has to move JT to 8, im sorry but JT should understand and if anything should be a motivator.

JT knows he can do better

Lead off with Thompson and get the opposing pitcher completely overconfident. In all seriousness, Thompson is just struggling and it becomes mental. He barely missed breaking the game open with two shots down the left line. No one feels worse than him.

Thompson could just as easily hit 3 for 4 tomorrow night. That's just how baseball works.

He’s hitting .111 this postseason, so I wouldn’t hold my breath.

What do you mean “get them going”? They are going. 5 runs in this tourney in a single game is alot

Bunt Thompson more.

If there’s a man on first and fewer than 2 outs, he should be told to either bunt or just take and hope the pitcher walks him. At least then he isn’t putting us in a DP. UT should have had one on him in the 8th or 9th.

In Baseball all it takes is one hit to get your confidence back but when you can’t get a bunt down and are 0-11 with 7ks and make errors on routine ground balls you can’t help but have no faith in him
