you must be kidding. Bama had a HUGE phycological advantage. They had the chance to avenge their only loss, against the sec champs for the NC. These are kids not the nfl.

You are about to get the other end of the stick. It will not be good for you.

Lol at thinking the reason we lost the NC was because Alabama had more motivation than us. We beat them at their home stadium, yet they had the psychological advantage.

Exactly how is it proven, who has Lsu beat that we wouldn't?
Our d is better, our o is better and special teams are even.

Admitting the truth that bama looks great is not admitting defeat.

So what you are saying, is we need 100 threads saying we get stomped, but one saying that they might be overrated is just too much.

I think they are very good, but too many people are sucking their dicks.

am not going to say that the diatoms don't have a good defense but LSU has a better defense. Nipping their heels in stats with a tougher schedule so far AND considering our offense doesn't help our defensive numbers. Consider that and they should be way ahead of us in stats.

I agree with this^. I also agree that Bama is a very good football team who has played well all season regardless of thier competition. We match up well w/Bama except qb. We will need Mett to actually make some positive contributions on offense as well as not give up the ball in order to win. Accomplishing this is not a huge feat, just one that our Off has not put together for an entire game yet this season.

What offensive juggernauts has LSU played beside A&M?

Good question

But they definitely shut them down

I understand that 'Bama has not really played anyone of LSU's caliber yet but that will change tonight. I really don't care if 'Bama wins or loses tonight as long as Florida keeps rolling along. Florida is basically our meal ticket to the BCS title game assuming they win out and we win out - IMHO.

Moreover, I predict a Moo State victory tonight at Ala. Moo State is for real (7-0 record is very impressive). They play physical football and their QB is excellent. They also have not beaten Ala. in 38 years or something like that. That's crazy!

On the other side Alabama is still a very quality opponent and unfortunately when you have the schedule they have played so far they don't need to get up for every game like LSU has had to do recently with trips to Florida and ATM plus home game against USCe. Ala. will be ready to play. We'll just have to see how it plays out.

Bottom line is LSU needs to close the deal these last 4 games of the regular season and put themselves in position for SEC championship game by winning the West. 1st step is Nov. 3rd.

There is no doubt they have the SEC Homer schedule last year, this year, and next.

They are still very good though.

WHO has bama beat this year? No one. Yes they have a good team but a pussy schedule. I hope the tigers come to play Sat. if we do we win. I don't see FLA-GA-SC on their schedule! :rimshot:

And none of those stats mean a damn thing. Bama if very good well coached on both sides of the ball. LSU is very good and well coached on defense.

I don't know why but this made me chuckle irl. Anyway, would you say that if alabama wins in dominating fashion tonight that "they haven't played anyone" would no longer be valid, or would the argument shift to "msu was ovverrated."

For the record I think the game will be close for 3 quarters and bama pulls away in the end and wins by 13-17 points, I just don't think msu has the horses to go toe-to-toe for 4 quarters

According to ESPN, Alabama has already won the Championship this year. I agree that Alabama has not been tested and may get a little fight with Moo St tonight but State will tire out by the 3rd Qtr and show their demise at this time. LSU however the following week will offer Alabama an opponent they are not used to playing and will have an Anti-Bama crowd on their side. Tigers by 7.

What certainly can't be disputed is that LSU will have the athletes to match Bama

And the defense to keep it close
