House's guys are currently playing pop warner.

That's where his scheme and skill level can really shine.

If by “his guys” you mean Monte Kiffin, Nick Saban, Bill Arnsparger, etc, then you’re correct.

Plenty of coaches in college football did more with less.

And no excuses of “but he had to coach against SEC offenses”… his defense looked shitty against cupcakes. When Grambling puts two hundred yards of offense in a quarter, you know you have problems.

Retarded Jimmy Ott said the same shite earlier today arguing with Hannagriff, saying it was the players’ fault we were so bad and not the staff. Pissed me off so much I had to turn it off. Dude is a fricking idiot with no business on radio.

What I saw is that he had ground beef and decided to make chicken salad anyway. He failed to adapt to what he had available.

Tepper would have been successful with TM7 as the drop linebacker.

Will folks please STOP with this crap

Coaches have been hired before that run a 4-3 and have 3-4 type bodies and vice versa and N O N E have been this horrible. He's had opportunity to bring in a few guys. At the very least when a defense is that bad you go to fundamentals work, you fix the tackling problem and that alone will make your defense look better BUT he hasn't been able to even improve that much less anything else. He's not a good d/c ,stop defending him

My problem with statements like these are that it's an chickenshit excuse to pass blame to pass accountability/blame, regardless of whether it is true or not.

This may have more weight and credibility if Matt House was making an effort to recruit "his guys." Literally dude does dick on the recruiting trail, doesn't seem to bond with his players, and developing players doesn't seem like an interest of his.

Starting to sound like Coach Prime here. A good coach can adapt his scheme and playcalling to match the strengths of his team. Just an example - Anyone who watched an LSU game knew our secondary was our weakest link, but looked like minimal effort was made to help strengthen it (i.e., blitz QB).

well a good coach adjusts to the talent he has. Especially extremely highly-paid DCs.

Besides, whose responsibility is it to bring in players?

House’s record as a D coordinator, prior to coming to LSU was .500 winning percentage. He should have NEVER been hired.
