After last night, Im read for him to be gone TODAY but, the D improved last year. They were not great but they got better across the year. That hasn’t happened this year. Any ideas on why?

We lost our entire secondary and replaced them with southeastern and mcneese guys

As far as tackling I have no idea how we make everyone looked like a greased pig

Combination of two things, not getting into bidding wars for recruits and transfers.
Talent evaluation of the 2nd 3rd and 4th tier players that they chose from.

Aranda would be a great fit for an NFL D coordinator. Why would he go back to being a coordinator in the SEC?

They don’t give themselves any room to adjust when about to make a tackle. Perkins came in hard last night…runner side-stepped him…Perkins didn’t adjust and he’s off to the races.

The defense was really bad last year too. Tennessee, UF, A&M, and UGA all scored 35+ on that defense.

Perkins did that several times - where he over-pursued himself out of the play.

What is that coaching? Technique? Seriously don’t know what is going on with him too…

We were pretty inconsistent on D last year. We had some very good performances and we had some really shitty ones. Other that the State game (against a team with no identity), our D has looked like total garbage in every aspect.

Did it? We gave up 38 & 50 points to A&M and UGA. It was very inconsistent throughout the season. It seemed like every team march the entire field on the opening drive.
