95 with 94% humidity for app st 08

in the direct sunlight... yeah, that was just awful. i've never seen so many EMS people in TS before running around attending to people.

It started at something like 10 AM. I don't remember it being all that hot. I think that game made some boat down payments for some dermatologists, though.

I actually did a breakdown of hottest games of all time years ago, including heat index.

I wonder if it's still in my post history...

08 app state takes the cake. Only game I almost passed out at. People were laying between the bleachers to get out of the sun

I was there. It didn't seem all that hot. I mean, it wasn't cool, but it didn't feel unbearable.

at the app state 2008 game, people were leaving their seats and sitting up against the walls near the concessions just trying to stay cool out of the sun. I left in the 3rd quarter, it was miserable.

That was a day outta hell for me....we drove over from the Beaumont area early that morning for the game. Got to tailgate area in time to have a bloody mary. Went to the game and sweated our asses off, then drove back to Beaumont area (Bridge City) and had to help my parent's evacuate to my house in Houston. We were stuck on the back roads, with my father sick from Cancer treatments. I think we finally got to my house in Kingwood at like midnight.

My guess is that probably had more to do with a bunch of students trying to stay up drinking all night rather than the heat.

i think it was '98 auburn when the concession stands ran out of water. heat index was over 100, iirc. 6:30 espn game.

I know fla last year wasn't the highest temperature for a game but, I don't know that I've ever been more uncomfortable and hot for a home game. for some reason, it was brutal.

worst away game was florida '88. well over 100 at field level. seems like I recall emmit smif or somebody hurt their leg pretty bad that game.

We went straight to the tailgate from the bar. So hot and hungover the next day. Then evacuated for the storm. Miserable weekend. Met my wife at that tailgate though.

ETA: I also remember when Brooks and Dunn played on the parade grounds. I believe we played Tulane. The game wasn't that hot, but while tailgating, it would rain, then get so hot after that if felt like I was in a sauna. A lot of this perceived heat had to do with how much whiskey was in my system, so that plays a large part in my opinions .

Western Carolina 2000. no doubt. it was the first game I went to with my season tickets.

Same here, I recall they were cautioning folks to wear light white linen clothing due the heat wave.

Of course the Tenn 05 sucked donkey balls, still amidst the chaos of Kat/Rita the air was like breathing hot water.

App 08 the impending storm made seem like sitting in Hell then had to hurry back N.O. and board up windows!

The Moo St game mentioned was 96 where blazing hot then stormed and flooded some vehicles then got steamy like sauna.

UF 13 gets honorable mention although was Oct. and a few others mentioned.

I have officially become a wimp. I'm a season ticket holder. I don't plan on sitting in TS for one of these early Sept. cream puff games if the temp or heat index is 95 or higher. After sitting in the rain twice last year that is getting old too.

Agreed.

The September games at NIGHT are almost too hot.

I'll never go to another day game in September, unless is a HUGE game.
