Many of us need a hero. It has to be a single person. The fact probably is that Ensminger and Brady are making a great team. Neither probably could have done this on their own. But that doesn't satisfy the psychological needs of your average fan who has to have someone to worship.
Remember, just six months ago they were worshiping Aranda.

As long as we’re handing out money, I believe there’s a dude named Orgeron who will expect a little something at the end of the year. Especially if we make the playoffs. This will factor into what’s available for the E and Brady duo.

All I know is that there is ONE significant difference in the LSU program from last year...and that is Joe Brady. Coach O deserves a lot of credit for bringing him in...best move I’ve seen in LSU sports.

Orgeron and Woodward will be on top of this. They will do what is necessary to keep him. Make him OC, or at least co - OC and pay him accordingly.

It takes a special person to do what Coach E has done....all good coaches have a little bit of an EGO...he has handle it well. For sure he is a tiger that bleeds purple and gold!!

he put a Qb with no spring camp under center for the first time since middle school
He blamed our Red Zone issues on not having enough TEs and FBs.
This year we are dealing with pressure by spreading defenses, giving out QB lots of passing options, throwing to the space vacated by blitzes and getting the ball out fast.
Last year we dealt with pressure by adding more blockers.
So coaching wise, what is different form last year? Its Brady
I don't think E's humility and lack of selfishness is being undersold.
But knowing you should let someone else do your job isn't the same as being good at your job.

Woodward knows pure talent when he sees it. He saw what letting pure talent get away and he will prevent it happening again at any cost.
