Steve needs to take a step back and Brady needs the OC and assistant HC titles

Which is exactly why we need to win it all THIS year.

Will most likely have to replace Brady as well as of course Burrow next yr.

I'm a bit terrified of our ability to replace Brady, but then I remember to just enjoy the moment. No use getting worked up about something I can't control.

With the authority he has at LSU, at his age & college experience, unless he gets a OC offer at a major school, it would come down to money & LSU would step up to the plate. Too, can see Esminger stepping down at the end of the season, especially if the season goes well.

I wish you were wrong about this, but you aren't. Tennessee is just one example of a team that could go after him. Arkansas, Florida State, etc. etc.

PS - In hindsight, I'm really surprised that Sean Payton didn't really praise Brady much at all. Was there a little jealousy in play?

Why would we have to replace Brady next season? LSU always has one of the highest paid coaching staffs in the country.

Dont shite on Ensminger because his lack of ego is whats making all of this work!! joe is young and just needs a little oversight this first or second year and im sure its his... dont kick SE in the arse on the way out... hes the guy that said go after Brady...

dont want to see anyone shite on ensminger or we gonna fight...

Okay? LSU has the upper hand here and will pay him as much as they would as any OC.

Or are you saying they are all going to offer him a major HC gig after such limited experience??

Arkansas is not going after him IMO.. and I can’t see FSU taking that risk. Tennessee will go after a more proven HC after this failed experience. FSU already has a young OC..

I don’t think anyone is shitting in Coach E.

We love E.

If E doesn’t retire next season then I believe Brady will be Co-OC and he retires the following season.

More likely to move to an assistant position than retire.

I actually think that LSU is more likely to have both/neither of Ensminger and Brady than only one of them.

If Joe were to get hired elsewhere I think it would make Ensminger more likely to completely retire.

the LSU coaching staff has talked about how Sean talked up Brady.

I wouldn't put it past some desperate program to take a gamble on him as HC, especially with Brady having NFL experience.

But the other question is, would LSU bump Brady's pay enough to make him essentially a co-OC? I think LSU would do it, and they might have to do it.
