What percentage of affect do you think the TIger Rant has on the players performance on gameday? 10%? 20%? More ?

The coaches have acknowledged that they can’t keep the players from being exposed to our kind of nonsense. It’s not uncommon for media types to pick up ideas from tiger droppings.. The refrain “block out the noise” sound familiar? I don’t think it’s unreasonable to be concerned about how much “rat poison” we might be sowing or contributing.

Take this from a message board on which you are chiding people from looking ahead and apply, in extremetity and in all things for just one day. Today is my suggestion.
Do not look ahead on the road on your drive to work. Just pretend you are a pilot and go fly-by-instrument looking just over the end of the hood.
It will work out as well as your 'suggestion' on this board.
Oh, and yes- our players are much better than us fans. How is that even a question?

It’s actually the HC’s job to make sure the players block out the noise & stay focused — regardless of who is favored, what they’re ranked, who is up for individual awards, etc.
There is nothing you can post to this board that will change the expectation —not just at LSU but across all of college football— that LSU will skulldrag MSU.
Doesn’t guarantee that’s how it plays out, but no one outside of MSU’s locker room believes anything to the contrary.

I have no doubt that our staff will be prepared and our players will be ready to play.

We committed some penalties last week that extended drives for the Gators that we would never had committed had the board been more focused.

It’s easy for the fans to look ahead but when everyday you wake up go to the facility and practice, watch film, and Gameplan nothing but Mississippi State it’s really hard to think of any other thing but that.
