Honestly ready to focus on playing football. This has to be somewhat distracting to the team with the players in question at practice.

I find it funny the anti crowd are acting like there is still some bright line you shouldn’t cross. We’re a long way past the days of probation for paying for an athletes trip home for a funeral.
How many of these players used the same agent as they did dealing with the university. How many took a huge pay cut to attend a mini camp after they were told they were out of eligibility.
The rules have been slipping for years and to stop that requires strong fair rules to be applied evenly any timely. Everything these rules were not.
Looking at the age of Virginia’s line and the eligibility of Trinidad and Pavia and you know that the moral high ground of these people is quick sand.

I get in my truck to go home from work last night and the radio is talking about it. I get in this morning and the radio is talking about it. I wish they would just talk about the upcoming games. This whole ordeal is very tiresome.

Who is this distracting? It’s not distracting our staff, it’s not distracting the players. Lane and every player that has had media availability has said, Lane came to them asked for thoughts on it, they said as long as no one is going to be cut it’s cool let’s be better.
Lane has recruited and gotten transfers that like competition. So the coaches and the team aren’t distracted. The only guy that would be suiting up Saturday pending on how tomorrow goes is the ND de because he has been practicing a while.
Lane doesn’t appear to be spending any time worrying about this, it’s been consistent in our messaging the entire time.
I’d suggest stop letting loser media journalist that have never played anything competitive outside of tummy sticks get you so upset and worried.
