At least 30 NCAA and NFL stadiums will have had at least 20k+ fans in attendance this weekend, with more following suit the next weeks as well. If cases continue their downward trajectory through this, hopefully he can gradually increase the capacity and push the envelope a bit.

I would hate for the governors to get comfortable with this and stick with it for the rest of the season. Like if cases are still down 6 weeks from now after there have been hundreds of games with fans in attendance, I find it ridiculous that adding more fans and sparse tailgating around campus wouldn’t be allowed. This also goes for other SEC schools. If cases continue declining at this same rate, we’ll be at pre April levels by mid October. As much as it helps us to not have fans at Auburn and UF when we play. How fricking depressing will it be watching that huge matchup with 1/4th of the stadium filled. Just wishing that they’ll look at this with some basic logic and not be petrified of the corona virus fear mongerers screeching when they suggest 70% capacity.

Have you even been paying attention to what Edwards has said?

Dude is on a complete power trip right now. No way does he allow any tailgating or higher capacities this season.

Cases are going to increase as we open up more. It’s hospitalizations and deaths on which we should be focused. This disease is becoming less and less deadly.

This right here. Y’all watch FSU last night? No one was wearing masks, yet we’re in phase 3 but still have a mask mandate? If you don’t think this is political you really are stupid

.....He already said no changes to guidelines until the Rona is done and he even clarified and said that means when a vaccine is widely available.

JBE will do whatever pushes his agenda. He doesn’t care about you or Lake Charles or anyone else.
