Brooks, because TM7 has trouble with defending receivers that run across the field and arkansas will do that alot

They are both play makers, but time and time again TM7 makes a play when it needs to be made. Brooks has made a few plays this year, and I'm very happy for him. We all know that TM7 is the real deal. He's up for Defensive Player of the Year.

I guess I don't understand this. Honey Badger makes plays, he's pretty good in coverage, tackles like a mofo, and is very good off the edge. I was on Brooks bandwagon a couple of years ago, but good lord people, Tyrann is head and shoulders better than Brooks.

frick. No he ain't

Dude, do you watch the games? Tyrann is touching the ball every game. I don't understand when people say this.

You must not be watching Brooks since the Honey Badger was suspended, he has made more plays than the Badger.

Guys, when Ole Miss' QB lobs a ball into Brook's area, that's not "making a play". My wife could have made THAT play. Too many fans praise a running back because he ran through a five foot wide hole, a DB because he caught a lousy pass, or linebacker who blizes unblocked and gets a sack.

Brooks is playing Tyrann's old role because Tyrann is mostly playing corner right now. It appears Simon is mostly in on dime right now

I'm surprised more people don't get this. Brooks and TM7 with both be on the field the entire game. It is Simon who's role will be a little diminished

I actually think Brooks and Simon are better cover corners than the Honey Badger. But he is such a playmaker that he needs to be on the field at all times. The way I see it, all of them are gonna be on the field alot. Claiborne and Simon on the outside and Brooks and TM7 on the slot receivers where they can blitz more and be around the line of scrimmage.

I think it's a moot point since the Tigers are likely to start the game in $.05 coverage. Both will play most of game, barring injury, IMO.

Tough question... between a very good corner and a guy who is a finalist for Defensive Player of the Year?

Tyrann is very fast to the ball and a great open field tackler. Pound for pound, the best tackler on the field.

He gave up, what, 2 crossing pattern completions vs WVU, and the fanbase wants him to sit? A slant is almost impossible to defend when the ball is thrown accurately. The best hope is to have someone lay the wood when the ball gets to the receiver and cause a drop/turnover.

I've rewatched several LSU games this season, and it's very impressive how often Tyrann is around the ball.
