I didn't get to see him play (before my time). But every old timer I know says this same thing. So I trust Casanova might very well be the GOAT.
But in terms of the players I've actually seen play (and it goes back to dalton/james gang), TM7 might very well be at the top.

I would wonder why he wouldn't like it. Especially if it gives him more pub. I would question who's being dumb then.
But if he isn't comfortable with it for whatever reason, then yes, it should be dropped.
But if he owned it, I think it would turn out pretty good, ala Big Baby.
