Turned TS lights to Floyd's HS colors. No idea if still up but there were some woke positions expressed on our websites.

How has Woodward "lead a SJW movement"?
What specifically has he done in this regard?

1. Not be MAGA
2. Acknowledge that black people have opinions too

He didn't lead an SJW movement. He pandered to prevent an uprising and further bad PR. It is what had to be done.

Anyone who knows Scott personally AT ALL knows he is not some super left SJW. He's a lobbyist and is playing the game to get what he eventually wants, which is all of this shite turmoil to go away.

This board is fricking retarded when it comes to understanding things like this. The amount of shite he would've stirred had he not pandered would've been unimaginably bad PR on top of all the shite we have going.

To answer the OP, I don't think he's really had an opportunity to do any major hirings or firings besides Pelini. That was crap, but everyone did think it was a great hire when it was made. People were celebrating him for making it happen.

90% of what the AD does, especially right now, is behind the scenes. We are under probe from the FBI, NCAA, and several major news outlets for things done prior to Scott coming back to LSU.

I guarantee you that his familial relationship (and very close friendship) with Mark Emmert will be worth every penny we pay him when this is all said and done.

Also give him a chance to make some major hires. He has done so at an elite level at 2 other universities and hasn't had the chance here yet.

Who is suggesting that black people don't have an opinion? Who?

Black people have had a megaphone in this 50+ years to voice opinions.

Woodward could have easily refuted BLM as founded on a hoax (Trayvon), whose means are corrupt and whose ends are Satanic. He didn't.

He could have rejected the false claims of systemic racism. He didn't.

Leading from behind I guess.

He told O to shut up and dribble.

As he should.

Stay the frick out of politics. Scott is South LA hunting and fishing baw. I promise he isn't some Kamala Harris fan.

He has to do and say things to keep the ship afloat.

You act like it’s a dumb thing to alienate 85% of your team.

Do you really, truly think this would be a good idea and in the best interest for LSU even if he personally believed it?

And lol at bringing Satan into this Our fans are so fricking stupid.

He let Tiger Stadium be lit up for George Floyd. Should have been fired for that alone

You don't think that maybe the football players wanted this and he was appeasing their demands to calm/unite the locker room? Do you guys remember how pissed the team was about LSU and Orgeron's lack of response to that BLM crap?

You are all snowflakes. Let them make the players happy by changing the colors of some silly lights, it doesn't impact you at all.

When people talk shite about George Floyd and their best case scenario is that the police knelt on a guy for 9 minutes while he was dying from a drug overdose.

That’s the BEST case scenario. A gross indifference to human life.

Worst case he contributed to this guys death.

Best case he knelt on him for over 9 minutes including at least a full minute where the dude was non responsive.

There are bad hills to die on. Michael Brown is one that comes to mind, but George Floyd isn’t one of themes

And all of that is before adding: if you don’t think this way that’s one thing. A majority of our football team does.

What if the players wanted it and it calmed them down/united them after the BLM shite that was going on in our locker room?

They are just lights. That's it. Stop being a crybaby. Pandering works to resolve situations.

Perhaps the bottom feeder would like to explain to the class how very noble BLM's stated goals are.
