"There is a chance that it will be raining during the game correct? That takes away a lot from a team that is 7th in the nation in passing and 107th in the nation in rushing."

That can work both ways. Our WR's know ahead of time where they are going and corner has to react to that. If the WR can make a clean cut, the DB may not have that same luxury every time. and all it would is 3-4 times, because most of those type mistakes lead to points.

dude, do you watch NFL games on sundays?

Our secondary leaves the QB NFL passing windows. It's like nothing you, or he, have seen on a college level.

And you are a moron if you think rain and wind dont add to a rushing game, while taking away from a passing game.

"He didn't throw a lot of ints last year either. Didn't LSU contribute almost half his INTs last year? What makes you think he won't in this game? On arguably a better defense with your offense being more one-dimensional"

Look again. He threw for one pick against you guys last year. That was his first time in the bright light. Believe me, this is a different Geno. We may lose, but Geno we do what Geno does.

eno is a good QB. we all have respect for Holgerson and Geno, and your program.

But at LSU, we do this thing called winning championships. This is the best LSU team we have fielded in a decade that has seen 2 MNC teams already. You guys are going to have a terrible game, but look on the bright side.

All teams you face after this weekend will look like HS teams, and you should roll them.

Furthermore, I really have no idea why anyone is worried about any facet of this game. Don't get me wrong, I respect WVU and think that they have a very good football program with a history of success, but LSU will destroy them this season. In seasons past it could be a very different story. This LSU team is lights out and have arguable the best secondary in the country. WVU possesses no running threat and they will try and pass all day long. One-dimensional teams do not fair against defenses that are the caliber of LSU's this season. You throw Noel Devine back in the mix, then they have more of a shot. LSU will get pressure and they will get a lot of pressure. The sack total might not be high because Geno Smith gets rid of the ball so quickly, but he will be forced to make mistakes because of the hurries. This is no disrespect to WVU as a program, but LSU wins 31-10

I'd be extremely shocked to see you put up 31 points. To be quite honest your offense sucks. Geno takes care of the football. He isn't going to throw 3 or 4 picks like you guys think. You're either delusional or don't watch much college football outside of the SEC. I'll go with the latter.

I didn't say rain had no effect on the passing game, just said it can work both ways. And you can rule out the wind, not gonna be a factor, rain maybe, but not the wind. And PLEASE I PRAY that your DB's leave us a "passing window." Geno has proven numerous times that is all he needs.

News flash. JJ is no longer our QB.

Stack the box this year to stop the run, and we're burning you with General Lee.

it appears that you, kind sir, are the one who doesn't watch much college football.

But it's okay, you'll see our sucky offense on Saturday night.

What is it going to feel like when a sucky offense pounds it down your throat all game... and then during the fourth quarter, starts bending you over?

lern to use the quote button. Highlight the section you want to quote, and click quote, then type your reply. it makes the message board smile.

BTW did you watch the Oregon game? The MSU game? The difference between them, and you is this.

We shut down their run, and forced them to pass.

With you, we already know you're going to pass anyway, so we can focus on it. I know you think Geno is Sam Bradford, but we will be in a 5-6 DB look every play, and ALL of these guys are going into the NFL. We dont have one or two future NFLers on this D, more like 13-14 in the 2 deep rotation.

Smith has done OK with open, very open WRs. I don't see that his velocity is very good on his typical throw.
Tight coverage + Low Velocity = INTs

General Lee will burn us for what? 150 yards? He's a game manager. He isn't going to win you squat.

We hold the ball for 5-7 minute drives. Your passing game may only hold the ball for 1-2 minutes before we get it back. Your Defense is going to be playing majorly undersized to begin with, and after a few quarters of pounding, its going to be ugly.

Wow, call down dude. Best team in a decade? Yea, a little premature saying that considering we haven't even been in the meat of our schedule yet...

WVU is just getting our hands warm compared to the stretch we have coming up...

Our offense sucks? Granted, our offense is not great by any stretch of the imaginiation, but we have the 34th best scoring offense in the nation, Maryland has the 57th. Maryland put up 31

Yeah. That's my opinion. Bookmark it if you want. Make lots of fun.

This is a complete, dominating, ball control, disgusting defense team.

I think it is the best in a decade.

not trying to hijack the thread though, so i'll leave it alone.
