For the individuals claiming Aranda needs to go.

For the ones saying our D blows and Delpit is shitting in his bed he made.

Say we win out and take home both the seccg and national title with our defense making key stops and turnovers.

What will you say then?
I'm truly curious, no argument intended.

Same with coach O hiring. So many knocked him and the hiring.

What will your verdict be then?

I’m just going to say our D had to be so exhausted. Our O would go score quickly and the D had to go back out. Stop being so rough on them!

What if we fire him and lose. And lose key recruits? That’s my biggest fear. LSU is winning. Yes the offense is scoring at will but at some point the will need defense!

All I care about in the next 5 games is players remaining healthy and LSU scoring more points than the opponent

They will continue to try to convince people they know more about football than Orgeron and Aranda. Duh....

Coach o record has gotten better each year. Aranda D has gotten worse each year. The 3-4 might not be the scheme for LSU. I don’t want him fired, just to fix this defense.

It’s funny how all y’all say this shite after we play a shitty team but as soon as we beat a good team no words said. Your point about at some point they will need it. Well they will perform they have all season and will on the biggest stage!!

Don't know if you took my post the wrong way but I'm all for the team and coaches. Those players are better than I ever was and the coaches know more than I do.
I watch and enjoy it.
I'll take a win anyday, even if it means giving up alot of yards.
All that matters is that scoreboard.
Participation trophies weren't given out when I was a child.

Geaux Tigers.
I'm behind them 2000%.

The simplest answer is that this is this is one of those times where I don’t trust the defense to make the critical stop.. I’ll heap praise on them if they can get timely stops going forward but I just don’t see it happening right now

1. Severe umbilical cords from mama
2. Burn play station & participation trophies.
3. Administer testosterone shot directly into nut sack
4. Kick them out of their mothers spare bedrooms.
5. Put them in locked room with Myles Garret and helmet.
6. Ban for life as fans

Watching the defense this year, I think we're a bit undermanned in depth in the secondary, and I also think there are guys playing with more injuries than we hear.

Delpit looks like he is playing hurt, as is Vincent. Also think we lack LB depth, especially since Divinity left.

If we had maybe 4 more guys in the rotation (another lb, a couple in the secondary, another on the line) I think this would be a typical LSU defense, holding everyone under 20 even in the blowouts. And I think we'd have seen Delpit miss a couple if there were quality safety depth behind him.

I'm not going to bag on Aranda- the first half of every game, we look good. And then the players start running out of gas.

I'm also not going to sweat the Ole Miss game. Everyone that has played them has warned us that Plumlee is insane, we saw that last night.

Dave Aranda is our best asst coach, IMO. BUT, Aranda and all our kids are gonna hafta learn how to play D on a team that scores so many points. NO matter what anyone says, it is different to play D on this team as compared to the last century of LSU football.

It's definitely a change.

In some ways, it's harder- you have more defensive series, and teams are passing more out of desperation.

In some ways, it's easier- we've yet to play a game where you have to keep the opponent under 20, let alone under 10 (that has happened in the past). Consider that the Ole Miss and Vandy games, we gave up over 30, and won by large margins (don't forget we had the ball up 21 in scoring territory at the end of the Ole Miss game).

I don't know more than the coaches but I don't know how to design a building/car etc either but I can tell when something is good and when something is bad.
Tiger D is bad. Tiger O is great.

Some would still bitch. Nothing, not even a national title, is good enough. Saban syndrome.
