If you had heard the same BS for seven years you might not have been polite about it. That being said, I think he handled the question as diplomatically as he could. There is not a nice way to say it's not your business.

Maybe Les is setting himself up to coach JJ at the nest level! I am sure the NFL teams are hoping that they slip to them in the draft. That team could then go after Miles.

That's because we have some of the most idiotic fans in CFB.

Exactly. We should definitely be better than 10-0 and ranked #1.

A huge part of his job is to help unite the fan base
OMG

and he could easily do so by honestly answering a few questions at a press conference
What about the percentage of the fanbase that doesn't think he has to answer questions about it? If they think he's wasting his time, hasn't he failed as a uniter?

instead of blowing the fans off that have supported this program long before any of us knew his name
It would all be ok if he just answered the damn questions, and if he could do it nicely and do what we wanted, that would help. In the uniting.

half of the people in the stands are booing.
Yeah, that's on Miles.

We should get a Snuggie that holds 92,000+, and it should one hole in the middle for Miles so we can encircle him with our love.

I hear you. There is a BIG problem. However, you can't fire those fans, and you'll never change their minds.

Dude, seriously post less. You are in every single one of these threads. We get your agenda. No need to post about it every time you see a new thread. You are ten times worse than the people you call out every five minutes.

Les spoke like an arrogant 10-0 coach. He better keep winning. He will re awaken a sleeping beast. It is the what have you done lately for me crowd. And many that supported him before will fall into this category. Just saying. Their was more than one way to answer this guy.

Our fan base is spoiled.

The guy is on the verge of his fifth 11 win season in 7 years and is the best coach we have ever had by the record, plus he is a great pr guy for the school.

He has put up with so much bs, and to get a question like that when the team is 10-0 and undisputed #1 - I think he handled it well, relative to the circumstances (thanks, nick).

People need to lighten up and enjoy this and stop trying to tear it down.

It is in the head coaches job description to decide things. Sad part is the rant is overrun with "fans" who think that Miles needs their permission to decide anything.

He doesn't need tickets to get into the game. If you or anyone else has to buy tickets to watch the games, you are not going to be making team/player decisions. Stick to Madden or fantasy football where real important decisions are made.

Miles has no obligation to give detailed reasons. The decision was not shocking and can't be "wrong." If it was irrational I might look at it differently, but it wasn't. That's his discretion. He's the farking coach.

Head coaches are hired on the premiss that they will either a.) continue a winning tradition or b.) build a winnig tradition. Coaches keep their job by fulfilling one of those two basic mantras. Les has put us in a position to win in the past as well as the future. Personally if I were in his shoes I wouldn't give a rats arse about the fan base as long as I'm winning games. You can't please everybody and especially rantards we are 10-0 with a sec title and national title game in the scope so whatever he thinks we need to do to win I'm behind it. Now if we were 0-10 or 5-5 his occasional arrogance would be a fatal flaw and he would be in danger of getting the boot.

For those who don't want to read all that let me sum it up: to the les miles haters, sit down shut up and enjoy the season we are bringing home a crystal ball at the end of the year.
