since we wear our home colors (purple jerseys ) for homecoming will they sat against ole miss ???? sure would like to see us kick OL PISS'S a$$ in purple .. purple jersey coalition 2014

We don't have homecoming jerseys, we just happen to always play non conference non power 5 teams for homecoming so that's why they wear the purple jerseys. Correlation is not causation.

I think we wear purple for OOC games unless it's the season opener....usually HC is vs. an OOC foe. We wear white for all SEC games, including this HC game vs. Ole Ms.

Can someone confirm the official policy? I think its purple against non conference opponents at home for everything except the home opener.
Whatever the case, I've always thought it would be a nice subtle slight to an SEC opponent to wear purple against them given that we typically save purple for scrubs.

This was the policy under Saban.
Miles changed it to white at home for all high-profile games, as well as the home opener if it's against a rent-a-win. So basically, white at home for all conference games and big OOC games.
