Geez...just when I think that SFP can't make remarks that are any more idiotic, he comes up with this one.

With as much experience as SFP has as a football talent scout, I'm sure that Miles will read this and realize how badly he was duped by rivals and all of the other coaches out there in their phony evaluations of Shep.

SFP is the Glenn Gilbeau of the rant...the poster child of an idiot fan who spouts off opinions that are only matched in strength and depth by his football ignorance.

I think you should email them your game plan for Shep.

ETA: make sure you include your post count and radio show experience in your resume. That'll impress them.

One of these days...after most of the remainder of LSU's schedule has seen nothing but Shep runs out of the wildcat formation, Shep is going to line up and take the ball as usual. The linebackers...perhaps even the secondary...will come up to stop him, and he will throw to a wide-open WR for 6.

And you can "book" that.

Has everyone forgotten the talk about Tebow when he was a freshman? It was the exact same thing! "Tebow can't throw" was the battle cry. Every time he came in, they ran it. The first time he actually started throwing, everyone said "wow...he really can throw".

Then Leak was gone and Tebow had to start. Everyone said "he can't hold up to the grind of a full season". Tebow just responded with a Heisman.

Of course, JJ is no Chris Leak, but I'm sure that Crowton and Miles...two guys who combined make more in a day because of their football expertise than SFP does in a year...have all kinds of ideas on how to use him. Just let the season unfold and let this 18 year old develop. For crying out loud, he was in high school at this time last year!

this

With KW or Trindon leading the way, hauling arse toward the side line. Shep is much faster than JJ, and it could work better.

yes because shep comes in to play the role of QB, right? he hasn't played WR and running QB, right?

please tell me how shep is a traditional QB, and how we've used him in that way

this is all well and good

but we can accomplish this with shep by having him run outside, where he can actually use his speed and athleticism

He is a freshman, they are bringing him along slowly, thus he has learned one play.

7 rushes 48 yds 6.9 ypc.

i'm sure he knows more than just, "run it up the middle" from the shotgun

and we need to start running the f'ing wildcat

we all wanna see that, I'm just being realistic. we already have some some zone read being run by JJ, why not let Shep run it too? I don't know, maybe his ball handling isn't that good. USL's QB was damn good with his.

Maybe you could start your own webiste to discourage high profile national recruits from attending LSU.
They would only make the team better and then some of you would have nothing to berate the coaches, players and university about.

I cant understand why we want any players like that here, can you?

we are 3 f'ing games into the season and already, "...coaches suck, change players cause they suck, this team sucks..."

LSU is 3-0, without playing anywhere near their potential. it is a long season. take 1 win at a time. would you rather have lost to wash like usc?

the difference between kids and adults (supposedly) is the ability NOT to get so caught up into an immediate situation to think the world is ending. adults (although not on the rant) should be able to see a larger picture and not get wound up into the shrt term. EVEN THOUGH LSU IS 3-0.

and yes sfp is still a jackass

look, if you arent going to break Shep in against a team like this, then its likely he wont be used any more than this the rest of the season when we'll likely need him

I disagree with this
quote:

the way we cant move the ball consistently on offense.....its just disappointing

But this I definitely agree with

Poor play from the O-line and QB position. The rest of the skill players are looking fine though.
