No problem. Not sure I've seen a pitcher recover and strike out the next three batters.

Clutch pitching performance of the year.

That's a great point. I was so proud of Little that I forgot about how great of a recovery that was by Holman.

Was probably awesome on tv & in person

Chris Blair slept walked thru it. It took Hunt to come back in the next half inning to give it contex

Some guys are just able to bear down and refocus within the moment without losing control. Most pitchers that inning goes of the rails and he gets pulled. Holman refocused and did what he had to do to get out of it.

Alex Lange was one that I specifically remember being able to do the same. He had an innate ability to pitch his way out of jams all the time. You'd feel like he was pitching poorly giving up hits and walks all over the place yet there he was in the 6th inning having only given up 1 or 2 runs.

Was there and told my daughter that she witnessed something that rarely happens at the college level with 0 outs and the bases loaded. The Box was rocking

The TV guys were kind of meh all night. Not a lot of excitement on big plays. Not much crowd noise either on TV

That’s because they weren’t actually at the game. When they remote in like that they can’t get a grasp on the atmosphere. Sad that this is still a thing since the election virus.

Take away his first inning and he dominated.

What a way to bounce back and shut them down for 4 innings

it started when Braswell booted a grounder and it seemed to rattle Holman.

all three strikeouts were on nasty pitches that ended up way out of the strike zone

Kid went in cold; needed warming up a tat! Needed to be out throwing 30 minutes before game start.....pitching just like in a game! He's OK....he'll be good!

And with the top of the lineup up after that 1st K. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that on 9 pitches. As Jay said post game, he proved why he’s one of the best in the country
