Well played. No wonder you were the Tiger Smack Talker of the Year six years ago. You must have hunted a lot of Germans over the course of those 45,266 posts.

Best observation yet. "Germans" is so overused along here by the wise-guys; it's stopped being funny and is just a cliche - boring non-comment. In fact, it is so overused along here that to post "Germans" is... well, "Germans."

With Speedy around the Germans just may lose.

From my casual observations, it seems like there is a small (very small) group of individuals that seems to come here waiting to pounce on an old (e.g. "Germans") topic solely for the purpose of posting the word. Never mind that they blithely walk by every JL vs JJ quadruple post or discussion about the UF game in 2003 (did not realize we lost to a TF QB). No, it is much more important to post a word in an obscure article that I had not read or discussed previously.

Noted.

I do not routinely open the main page as I link to the rant directly (as do a fair amount of casual readers of this site do)

My point is that I am glad people post this old info as it is often a good article I missed during the week. I oftentimes find myself reading posts that are labeled as "German" that are new to me.

IMO, these people get off by trying to "correct" others on a message board. I find it high schoolish (hence hall monitor references). If you have already read the article or info, just move along.

I really think it pains most rantards to pass on an opportunity to be a worthless douche.

I'm really curious what form of OCD causes people so much pain to see the same thread posted several times, yet allows them to repeat cliche "Germans" phrases over and over like a retarded parrot.

Got a link to one of those older "smack talking" posts? Would like to take a walk through some historical give and take. Has to be better than the endless drivel (I know you are - what am I?) we have witnessed over the past few weeks.

Also, why do they not do not award a "poster of the year" anymore? I am definitely not in the league to compete. Just curious.

Cool. Still thankful for the day I stumbled across TR. Despite the insanity it still is the best place to get up to date information on LSU.
