And Murph is WRONG (IMO) about pretty much everything he's predicting on the LSU v Clemson game. But I still enjoy his post-game breakdowns.

Injury to Alabamas forgotten man

Last year Alabama had lost its top CB Trevon Diggs to injury prior to the game.

The CB they started in the NC game in place of that guy was this guy: (He gave up several huge plays in the NC)

Does LSU have any DB's that are bad enough to not be drafted? Certainly not our starters, but a dime back perhaps? If so, Clemson has shown they are good enough at reading film to find them and exploit them, just like LSU.

You mean it’s nearly the same team that Alabama imploded and self destructed against. Bama threw a Pick 6 to start the game. They threw 2 INT’s in the game and then managed to go scoreless in the 2cnd half and have 3 consecutive long drives in a row that ended in failed 4th down attempts. That’s what you call self destruction. Certainly, Clemson is a great team. However, Bama uncharacteristically self destructed and Clemson has been of the impression for a year now that they whooped Bama’s arse. I see an Alabama implosion more than I see a Clemson arse whooping. JMO. [Quote]

No, I'm afraid that's not what happened. What happened is Alabama got dominated and LOST........no wait , not Lost...... Got Destroyed. So I'm assuming that " Uncharacteristically self imploded" means they were annihilated by the better team and accordingly, lost the game. Yes?
After Tua threw that first interception, he walked off the field with a smile on his face like no big deal, we will get the ball back and still win the game. Rolled into that game thinking there was no way they were going to lose. He was right, they didn't just lose, they got embarrassed on a national stage.
And if LSU comes rolling into this game with the same mindset, the same thing will happen.
If last year proved anything at all, it proved , DO NOT underestimate Clemson like 90% of this forum is doing.

LSU fans are not LSU players, this LSU team has laser type focus, it's about the opponent all day every day. I guarantee the Joes have watch hundreds of hours of game film and there will be nothing your paper Tigers can do to stop the avalanche of points that will pour down on them.
