Offense is not the number one priority for a catcher.

he has struggled behind the plate as well. He lets a lot more balls go past him than usual and has struggled to throw people out at second lately. Except that one time yesterday

He threw two people out in extra innings Wednesday night. Fact is most teams will not run on him.

Oh without a doubt....but catching 150 games a year just magnifies the accomplishment for sure though.

Perhaps you should watch the games with your eyes open. Just a suggestion.

Dude.....the fact is he alters team's running games. Many teams will come in and test a catcher in college right off the bat....early and often until they are stopped. Ross does not get tested unless it is by very elite football type speed......and he throws those guys out half the time.

Only throwing out 40% of runners with 3 pickoffs. definitely pedestrian numbers

All you need to remember is when he was hurt for a couple of weeks at the end of the regular season last year and how easily teams ran on us.

It's pretty cool how many things there are that need to change on this site with our 22-2 best start since 1997 baseball team.

Do you watch any of the games? If so, you must just be trolling for the hell of it.

Yeah, if only PM had made those changes, we might have 28 victories by now.

this is another example of how the sec doesnt understand how to list stats. not every stat should be listed as 1. for the most, 2. for the second most.

This list should be inverted. Pretty sure they do the same thing with strikeouts.
