He's kind of an a-hole. Not that it's a bad thing, but if you ask him a dumb question he will shut you down.

And that’s something which neither of our previous NC winning coaches had. Added NOTHING to the offensive or defensive strategy, weak in-game decisions, and couldn’t articulate a clear thought or message.

Maybe it feels strange because no one believed that we could steal ND’s head coach. BK was definitely mentioned and probably contacted. I underestimated what our AD would pay to get him and I never considered why BK might actually consider LSU.

Does anyone doubt that BK is a better coach than Miles or O? If he wants win a NC, and I’m sure he does, what colleges would be at the top of his list? Based on actual results (NC’s) over the past 20 years, his list would look like this…BAMA>>>>LSU>>>OSU>>~3 schools including ND.

The college market has changed and any new coach would have come with a large contract and significant guarantees. Had our AD payed someone like Fisher $12m (especially after what happened Sat), our boosters would not accept 8-4 seasons and SW’s seat would get very hot. I liked Napier but could we have hired him for ~$5-7m/5yrs with incentives that could take him up to the $10m range by winning a NC? That’s a performance based contract and he wouldn’t have accepted it. Nope…because his agent wouldn’t agree to that and with UF in play, he had leverage.

That is scientifically impossible.

No more side show for those gameday idiots to laugh at, I agree. Just plain coaching, feels business-like and very serious. I love it.

In 31 years as a head coach, Kelly has amassed a record of 284-97-2, which ranks him first among all active FBS coaches in career victories, ahead of Alabama’s Nick Saban (272 wins) and North Carolina’s Mack Brown (265 wins). Kelly has only had two teams finish below .500 during his 31-year collegiate career.

I thought he did in division 2?

He did, twice. I know it’s not the same level, but your players are at that level.

Was sometimes fun being in the spotlight due to the oddity of our coaches. That said, I was over it. Glad to have Kelly.

Yep, likewise, but the sports writers seem to despise Kelly much more than they do Saban, which is fine by me. He's our leader; he's a winning machine. They're obsessed with their downright sick disdain for him, and they can all go straight to hell with their stupid punkbitch articles.

Nick Saban is personable. When working he is very focused. That doesn’t mean he’s not personable. Just watch the press conference after the Georgia beatdown.
