To be honest, the father has a point!
Hilton was to be our top WR
when he returned last year, he was nothing short of amazing
this year, it's crickets
I don't know what is wrong with the offense, but my gosh, how many deep balls have we tried this year?
2?
Fix the offense

He isn’t any getting open.
Posted on 9/15/25 at 8:33 am to LSBoosie
He’s overrated. Go away Dad with this BS!!

Looks like Zavion Thomas has been taking a majority of the targets that Hilton was expected to get. He clearly put in the work to be more than just a gadget player/ returner.

He was until LSU signed Barion Brown who does everything Hilton does but better

Absolutely, all of the wide receivers' parents should be upset. Nuss has regressed; he’s a shell of his former self. The offensive line isn't performing well; they can't block majority of the people sharing their concerns on this board. The running backs are not contributing much, and the offensive coordinator isn't calling a decent game. This falls on "Keeping Receipts BK." He needs to bring Frank, Sloan, Hankton, and Brad Davis into his office and don't leave until they can come up with a better gameplan. LSU has too many talented players to only score between 10 and 17 points a game.

What has been the longest pass thrown by Nuss this season?
Is his arm ok?

Dealing with unhappy parents always has been and always will be part of sports and what coaches have to deal with on a daily basis all the time.
My niece's husband played baseball for LSU back 25 years ago and she said it was toxic sitting in the stands watching those pre-season intrasquad games that helped decide who played and started.

No he wasn’t.
I like Hilton, but Aaron Anderson was pretty much even stats wise with Kyren last year and getting high round NFL draft buzz (with some first round love) this offseason.
Hilton was looking like our top deep threat coming into the year, but even that was somewhat debatable after adding Nic Anderson and Barion.
It’s a long season, he may yet have a big impact.

Who gives asf who Hilton Sr has to say one player isn’t bigger than the team.. Barion Brown, Zavion, and AA are just better receivers

and there we have it

I would be careful about conveying selfishness 3 games in with an offense ranked last in the conference
Posted on 9/15/25 at 9:10 am to LSBoosie
3-0 against good competition
Ranked 3rd in the country
Obviously committed to a risk averse offensive plan due to the strength of the defense
Player unhappy
Sheesh

Just flip it around to understand how out of line this is.
What if someone within the program said “Senior WR, 3 games, 1 reception, 1 yard, 1 fumble.”
This offense needs to be unlocked. Unless that happens, Hilton won’t get anything and Brown won’t get enough.
There’s no need to make this about 1 person. Anderson isn’t getting enough balls. Brown isn’t getting enough balls. The entire offense needs to be addressed.

Is BK not accessible to his players? How about Joe Sloan? His son needs to handle this like a member of the team, dad appealing to the LSU community is not a smart way to do this.

there is clearly discontent with the offense inside and outside of the Lockeroom reminiscent of the Les Miles era.
You have no idea if there is discontent inside the locker room, much less “clearly”.

Hilton probably is the fastest player on the team outside of maybe Watkins. But straight line speed only does so much when
A. QB can't hit the deep ball and
B. Defense sit a safety over the top since the running game can't do anything.
A good coaching staff should be moving him around and finding mismatches, which should be easy considering the rest of the talent on the field. Hilton's speed in the slot should be a dangerous weapon. We're not privy to what goes on behind the scenes; but Hilton must not be the kind of player willing to do what it takes to see the field (like Thomas playing multiple roles and basically doing anything he's asked).

I don't think anyone with at least a reasonable knowledge of the game thinks Hilton is one of our top 2 WRs.
I think a lot of people with a reasonable knowledge would have him 4th or 5th.

I was expecting them to force Hilton the ball.
They’ll do that this weekend. In big games he’s, what, wr5 at best?
I trust A. Anderson, Thomas, Brown, Parker, and N. Anderson to complete a big catch more than Hilton. We’re all pulling for him.
Hopefully what Sr. is really doing is calling out the lack of production on offense as a whole.
