You're crazy, we will easily be top 10. Surtain would be our highest ranked recruit and Chase would also be one our top guys. Surtain is gonna let us crack top ten alone

Step back and think about whether this is even something to be excited about. We've had top 5 classes for years. Now that the master recruiter is leading the ship, we're supposed to be excited about a top 10 finish? Next year maybe we can throw a party when we get a top 15 class.

SMH.....

Are you seriously bitching about a top ten class? you poor bastards are spoiled. Who in LA did we miss out on besides Rogers? It’s not like it’s the tenth class out of 10 for frick sake. It’s a down year in LA.

with Mullen to Florida and Fisher to the Aggies, our top competition now all have head coaches capable of pulling people from LA

Why would you be so concerned about those coaches poaching LA talent when they are in the 2 most talent-rich states in the country? If they get LA kids it's because those kids want to get out of LA and LSU wasn't going to get them anyway. Losing top LA recruits to Alabama will always be the bigger concern.

How could you possibly think that adding two five star guys and another highly ranked 4 star kid equals not a single jump up, let alone how you could possibly think they wouldn't at least make the top ten is quite dumb.

Other teams will also be adding 4 & 5 star recruits, so it is quite possible that LSU might not move up in the rankings. They may or may not and could actually drop a little, depending on what other teams do. Calling people dumb for speculating when you're doing the same thing ain't too smart either.

It's great to have top recruits, it's better when you develop your talent to be all-conference caliber players within your system. That's where we have to get better, and I think we can.

Fisher at A&M doesn’t scare me nearly as much as mullen at UF does. I think mullen will be great there.

Same was said when Sumlin went to the Aggies and the three-time defending Big10 champion coach went to Arkansas.

Nobody said that about Bielema. And Mullen pulled a few kids LSU wanted while at MSU, now he has the UF brand behind him. Sumlin wasn’t thought of as a threat to Louisiana until after his first year at A&M. Jimbo and Mullen have recruited this area for years, Bielema and Sumlin hadn’t(Sumlin wasn’t going after the same guys LSU was when he was at UH). If you don’t think Jimbo is a threat, you’re even more ignorant than I thought, and I didn’t think you could get any lower.

Wait wait wait... This 19 class all the Cheerios are touting as full of elite talent isn’t even projected to be top 5? I realize it’s still pretty early, but the way the Cheerios talk, you would think the class will finish #1 overall.

If the 19 class isn't top 5 a minimum, someone didn't do their jobs.
