All of this is from October, 2011. Good times. We need a defense like that again.

Love it! For all of our struggles at times LSU has managed to win championships with both the greatest defense and offense in CFB history within 10 years.

Even if you considered that 2011 team the greatest defense in CFB history we didn't win a national championship that year...we did win a conference championship though.

Many natties are split/disputed. LSU has a better claim to 2011 than a lot of titles other schools actually claim.

I don't claim that one and have never heard any LSU fan claim it even if they thought the rematch was not fair

Once Okie St got screwed that bowl became meaningless. LSU had by far the best season even if you count the mulligan. Hell I’d have ranked the Pokes #2.

Same here.
We beat Alabama, on the road. If they are so good, as they are, then that win should've counted for more than it did.
Bring in the next team in line. If it's a one sided contest, then it is. No one seems to have a problem with that when it's ok for Alabama.

It wouldn't have happened to any other team.

Still can’t believe a team loses a game at home, then gets rewarded a bye by not being good enough to play in their conference championship and gets to play for a championship game. Especially when another team had a better resume…..still blows my mind to this day.
