The number of misquotes and non-sequiturs in the article are off the chart.
It is a fact that schools have attempted to recruit against Ole Miss' embrace of Confederate themes for decades. He's supposed to say things are "a-okay now"?
He's told his team to focus on the game and let the attention be on him. Isn't that taking responsibility for the circus on himself?
Kiffin has been more transparent about his actions than anyone else in college football. It's no wonder that Wolken doesn't know what that looks like.

How much better are we than Ole Miss? By looking at how bad Clemson looked vs. Georgia Southern and our red zone struggles vs. La Tech. Could week one be in Ole Miss favor with the win over Louisville? I guess we’ll find out soon but with some of Lane Kiffin”s statements it kind of makes me think hes back tracking because maybe the team is distracted by what’s going around the program. Hopefully we come out firing on all cylinders.
