track and field is so hard to predict
have no idea which teams just stockpile to dominate certain events and increasing point totals

LSU has a fantastic chance to bring home a title if everyone does what they're supposed to do. Hope they maintain this success.

They benefit from getting deferred eligibility to do their mission before college. A few years of body maturity really helps distance runners, so their distance squad is nasty.

I get what you mean. But at least they use measurables and you know who won an event.

Unlike gymnastics which is based on personal opinion. Like playing golf without golf balls. The announcers telling you how pretty a swing is and determining who wins the masters based on their opinion of pretty.

the ustfccca rating system doesnt necessarily project to the national meet the best either. you could have schools racking up points at the bottom of the top 40 or whatever it is the cutoff is which doesnt really correlate to scoring at the national meet. In LSU's case they actually are sitting pretty though.

byu realizing there's potential in the kenyan model. I remember being teammates with 26 y/o "juniors" in college.
