See...why can't all summaries be like that? Nice job Voodoo.

Jeremy Hill to Michigan.

KH is biased as hell about the talent of teams, but he is fair with objective issues like this.

He even throated us a few times during the 1/9 debacle.
He did.
I remember being shocked on rewatch when he said at halftime that LSU was only a play or two away from turning this game back into what we saw on 11/5, and we just needed not to panic.
Of course, almost every other moment of the night was his love letter to Nick Saban and Alabama, co-signed by Muffberger, but in his defense, we didn't give him much reason to do anything else

I used to think Herbie was a complete tool but over the years I realized I was too rough on him. He seems to be pretty honest about things and fairly level headed about LSU. As with any media member, you have to take anything he says with a grain of salt.

Always been a fan of Herbies except for his championing of Bama's mulligan back in 2011. Usually a level headed guy with good analysis. Although he may let the general media flow get to him from time to time, he's usually spot on whether most people like it or not.

The guy was a player and that can go one of two ways, but more than anything I think he better understands a team dynamic and understands Les' perspective on all of this. I really don't get all the backlash as this sort of thing has happened within in every FBS team for probably the last ten years. People, especially dumb college kids, deserve redemption if they are willing to work for it. It sounds like your boy Hill is doing just that. Good luck to the kid.
I think we are seeing something very similar with TM7 - I am also glad to see that he is proving the skeptics wrong. That guy made for some very exciting college football. He made some selfish, immature mistakes, but damn if we all haven't done that when we were 19, 20, 21. I've actually got y'all picked to win the West. If there's one thing I learned in my years down in the Bayou, it's never count out LSU. Ever.

I rewatch every game. Multiple times.

I have a problem. This was never in question

This, I like Herb more than any other analyst. He likes LSU and Les and always give LSU props.

Herbie had LSU #1 last year before Mathieu was suspended. He dropped them because of that. He probably would have been right on

Herbie and Palmer are two of my favorites (no homo
) along with Brando (see
)
I think all three are knowledgeable and do their own analysis without always relying on the standard media talking points. They can think outside the box without trying to be so hyperbolic about everything.
Of course I disagree with them from time to time, but even when I do, I can still usually respect their thought process.

I hope Blue and Hilliard go off and Hill never sees the field this year.

I've never been a big fan of Herbstreit but I agree, he hit the nail on the head with this. CLM did not reinstate to win games, he truly felt the kid had been punished enough. If Hill F's up after this, he'll be sent down the road and he knows it. He was also right that while Hill is a special back, we've got enough talent at RB that Les didn't have to sweat suspending or dismissing him. He's proven that he'll take action when warranted and as soon as the legal process played out, he acted quickly, just like he did w/ JJ. I give him all the credit in the world for how he handled this one.
