One week ago Danny Kannell was hammering LSU. However, he sounded ignorant and based most of his predictions on assumption. He must have a lot of pent up angst from his underachieving career as a player.

I wish that for once we didn't have to whip Bama and referees !

I think Herbie has warmed up to us over the past few years. Outside of him & Crazy Corso, I wouldn't say ESPN loves LSU. In fact, I would say that ESPN (and really most of the media as a whole, including the CBS crew) strongly dislike LSU, or at the very least give them less credit than they deserve. Let's not forget the whole "well USC are National Champions too" fiasco from 10 years ago. In fact, back then, the only person I heard on ESPN sticking up for LSU as the sole National Champs was Nawlins boy Michael Smith.

A couple of days ago you guys were calling Herbie a tool and that ESPN hates LSU.

Herb is really good...wish CBS would hire him away from ABC/ESPN. Lot better then Gary and Vern. We all agree on that. LSU has recruited to well to not be thought of as a contender. LSU-BAMA will continue to be the SECw game of the year. Dont agree that LSU doesn't get media-love. Actually the media loves Les. LSU-BAMA sat nite from BD in Tuscaloosa, one to look forward to.

Everyone staying healthy is key. We have depth, but I want our experienced guys on the field the whole year.
Surely we should be on the good end with luck of injuries. Last year's injuries and other issues with losing players was more than most teams have in 2-3 years.
3 olineman( including the guy we ran behind for 2 years in Faulk), starting rb, two starting lbs and a starting and Bednarik awards winning cb. It was crazy

Well, that's a certain jinx.
Just like Dr.Lou's pep talks. If he gave your team a pep talk, it was a bad omen.

being the home team in the LSU-Bama series is a detriment.
Wrong!
Winning against Bama replay officials is tough.
